Love this app, it’s ease of use, amount of cards in the database and the dudes at Card Hedge! Can’t wait to see what else they release this year!

**Developer response:** Jonnyd55, Thank you for the compliments. Yes, we have a lot in store in the coming months so stay tuned. If we can help with anything please let us know.

### 5/5 — Great Database Tool!

*2023-02-10*

The card hedge app is great for quickly checking the value of my baseball cards. I can just scan the card or use the search tool and find all the information I need. This makes it easy for trading cards in person, listing the cards online, or just checking how my cards are holding value! Simple, straightforward app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just downloaded today

*2025-09-14*

The scanner is horrible. I have to dictate every card in and most cars. I have done so far have not been in the system with cops. You can get free scanners and price guides that are way better than this for free. There is absolutely no point to download this thank you.

### 1/5 — Worthless. Minimum $15 to use

*2024-01-26, version 1.0.5*

Cant do anything without paying. Trash.

### 1/5 — Card scanner

*2023-07-06*

Pretty bad card scanner. Dare I say one of the worse I have tried out of the multiple apps out there. Idk what these other reviewers are talking about it working. Mine just gets stuck on scanning image with no results. These other reviewers have to work for the company.

**Developer response:** Hi Azrael, thanks for the review. We are sorry you had a bad experience. The scanner only works on slabs and we have done a lot of testing so assuming the images are well taken you should have good results.

### 2/5 — Below mid

*2026-07-16, version 2.1.4*

Database is not deep enough and comps are whacked

### 2/5 — Not finding any of my cards.

*2025-07-16, version 1.0.13*

Very limited card library

### 3/5 — On the right track

*2026-07-29*

Some of the cards i try to look up dont seem to be in the database. Also when i am looking at the silver holo of a card, it shows the base prices as well so comps seem off. All minor things. Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Best App available for sports card research

*2026-07-02*

I've tried and use most of the major apps for football card research. Card Hedge, Market Movers, Card Ladder, Card Doppler, Luna and others. The one click GEM rate data when looking at a card in Card Hedge alone is worth the price of the app. To my knowledge, Card Hedge is the only app that gives you the GEM rate, along with the POP report.

The AI chat feature also sets this app apart from the others. You can ask it direct questions about specific cards — player, year, set, parallel — and it comes back with actual researched answers. Whether I'm trying to figure out if a raw card is worth submitting, what a specific parallel is selling for, or how a rookie's pop report is trending, it gives me real information instead of hunting across different platforms to find the data.

If you're buying raw cards with an eye toward submitting, this is the research tool that fills the gap the other apps don't.
Highly recommend it to anyone serious about the hobby — whether you're just getting started or you've been at it a while.

### 5/5 — Mind Blowingly Good

*2026-05-12, version 2.1.2*

Edit: After about a month now, I have to say that this app and the Cardhedger.com website are by far the most comprehensive, feature rich and are honestly beyond anything else out there pertaining to sports and trading cards of all kinds.

I’ve got subscriptions to a slew of sports cards apps, we all know which ones work best for scanning, which ones have the most up to date pricing data and which are best for what but this one seems to check a lot of boxes in one app. It’s been worth the free trial and paying the minimum for a month’s worth of use. The Ai features are actually pretty cool and very useful. It’s clearly an app designed for stocks that’s modified for use with all sorts of trading cards and it does so in a manor that is incredibly efficient, well thought out and intuitive to a degree that no other Sportscards app reaches. And if you’re serious about buying and selling cards, they offer API access which is above my needs but this platform is beyond feature rich so if API is your lane this is epic.

### 5/5 — Pretty impressive

### 5/5 — 👍

Enjoy this as a reference tool.
Haven’t paid for the free version nor have I tried the free trial but for as a quick reference tool, nothing negative to say !
The results do seem to be limited and have had a few modern cards not within their system but again, give it a try. Will try to update after 7-day free trial*

This app is great to track my collection as well as monitoring the ever changing market. There’s endless free features but after the customer support adding offbeat cards I wanted to track; I was more then happy to support it better manage my collection .

### 5/5 — Impressed!

*2023-03-29*

I am checking card prices constantly for both my personal collection and my sports card business. I typically have a good idea of what my inventory is worth, and was very impressed at how accurate the app is, and how user friendly it is as well. Thanks for creating such a great app!
