### 5/5 — Fun Accessible Card Games

*2026-05-11*

I played tons of Gin Rummy when I was a kid during summer vacations at the shore. I love the ability to play it again. The author takes VoiceOver accessibility seriously.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much, Austin. Bringing that kind of card-table feeling back is exactly why Card World exists, and accessibility will keep staying at the center of it.

### 5/5 — Perfect Accessibility

*2026-05-10*

Hi. My name is Mercy, and I'm so happy that this game is accessible. I've always wanted to learn Rummy but it was always difficult but not anymore with Card World. Thank you for making accessibility a key focus.

**Developer response:** Thank you, Mercy. I am so glad Card World made Rummy easier to learn and enjoy. Accessibility is not an add-on here; it is part of the foundation.

### 5/5 — Love this game!

*2026-05-02*

Very awesome, you don’t realize how much an app like this means to me! Thank you guys so much!

**Developer response:** Thank you. It means a lot to hear that Card World matters to you. I really appreciate you playing and supporting the app.

### 5/5 — Been waiting for this for a long time

*2026-05-01*

I have played other somewhat accessible card games but nothing at all like this! I was introduced to Dice World about seven years ago and thoroughly enjoy it, but always wanted a card game. I lost my eyesight later in life. This brings back memories of playing gin rummy with my father when I was a child. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing that. Bringing back those memories of playing Gin Rummy is exactly the kind of thing that makes this work worth doing.

### 5/5 — chouette

*2026-04-24*

jeu très sympa. manquent encore quelques traductions en fr, mais l'accessibilité y est.

**Developer response:** Merci beaucoup. Je suis content que le jeu vous plaise et que l’accessibilite fonctionne bien. Je vais continuer a ameliorer les traductions francaises.

### 5/5 — A piece of my childhood returned!

*2026-04-13*

A great app from an awesome developer! I grew up playing Rummy 500, but since I lost all of my sight, it has become a difficult game to play, mostly because of reviewing what's in the discard pile. This app has made it easy to play again. I can't express enough how much the developer's commitment to accessibility makes a difference. And not only that, but how responsive he is to feedback. I requested a couple changes, like being able to review the discard pile before discarding, having the suits of a set announced, and having Voiceover announce when the opponent played a meld. He made all those changes in the very next release within days!
Give this game a try. You won't find a better experience, and if you do run into an issue or think of a way to improve the app, you won't find a more responsive developer anywhere!
Thank you so much for giving me back a piece of my childhood!

**Developer response:** Thank you! I'm very happy you are enjoying the game. More games will be added soon! Accessibility always comes first!

### 5/5 — Tolles Spiel.

*2026-04-11*

**Developer response:** Vielen Dank. Es freut mich sehr, dass dir Card World Spass macht und dass die VoiceOver-Unterstuetzung gut funktioniert.

### 5/5 — We love this app!

*2026-04-11*

A friend of mine sent me an invite to this app, and I was really excited when I found out about it. I’ve been using Dice World since April of 2013, and when I first started, it was still fairly new. I don’t remember exactly how old it was at the time, but I think it only had Farkle and Yahtzee in the beginning. It grew over time, and I would love to see that happen with this app too—adding more card games and continuing to expand. This is really the first accessible card game experience like this that we’ve had.

Truly accessible apps—ones that both blind and sighted people can use comfortably—are still pretty rare. That’s part of why I’m so excited about where this could go.

As soon as my fiancé and I found out about it, we paid for it right away. Personally, I don’t find the price of around $4 a month expensive. We already pay for Dice World, and for us it’s worth it. First, we don’t want to deal with ads, and second, ads can get in the way of the experience. But more importantly, we want to support developers who take accessibility seriously. This developer has done a great job with Dice World over the years, especially when it comes to fixing accessibility issues quickly whenever something breaks. That matters, and it’s something I’m willing to support.

I’ve seen some people say, “Well, you can’t really do a lot with it yet.” And sure, it’s a new app—but honestly, for something this new, I think it already offers quite a bit. I’ve been pretty impressed with what’s there so far.

I would definitely recommend this app. Whether you’re blind or sighted, if you enjoy card games, this is a great place to start—and I think it’s already a home run. Go give it a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for such a generous review. I really appreciate the trust from Dice World players, and I am excited to keep growing Card World with more games and improvements.

### 5/5 — Love It so far

### 4/5 — Some observations and hopeful requests

*2026-07-31*

I am embarrassed to say that I just realized this game existed. After I figured out how to play 2 out of the 3 games I hit the ground running. I want to say I really enjoy playing this game even though at the moment I am losing more than winning… The reason I didn’t give the app 5 stars is becaus I think that requiring players to use a gem just to play, both bonus and regular games is frustrating. Why can’t it be like Dice World where the gems are used to take bonus turns??? Also, we can’t even post on the forum unless we subscribe??? I get money needs to be made, but we can’t even play with the bots for free??? Please consider giving us something more that doesn’t require a monetary value? oh, last thing, can there be a random opponent element added to the game like in DW? Will there be other card games like UNO, Pity Pat or 5000 added to the game in the future? Just hoping, thanks for the tgame!

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing.

### 4/5 — Hearts a little predictable

*2026-06-08*

I’ve played hearts in real life and on the app. It gets a bit predictable because it’s often the same cards being dealt out. There can be slight variation here or there, but for the large majority of the time you can kind of guess and gather with the other person‘s hand probably looks like. I find the probability of knowing what’s going on in the other person‘s hand less likely when there’s a draw pile such as in gin rummy. I like the app though and have enjoyed playing against friends.

### 4/5 — Love The Accessability For All

*2026-05-24*

It is great that blind and sighted gamers can play together. I love the tutorials. I just wish there were more games, and you could invite. Also, I posted about the game on my blog Gaming Guru Talks on medium.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing Card World on your blog. I’m glad the tutorials and accessibility are helping blind and sighted players enjoy the same games together. I appreciate the requests for more games and invites.

### 4/5 — Good Game

*2026-05-09*

Overall, this is a well made and accessible Rummy game that can be enjoyed by sighted and blind players alike. The controls are intuitive and the rules of both available games are easy to learn due to the built-in tutorials and the written rules if you still need clarification on something.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful review. I am glad the tutorials, rules, controls, and accessibility work are helping both blind and sighted players enjoy the same table.

### 4/5 — I like it!

*2026-04-20*

I love the app. However, I wish to see more games in this app and, I would also love to see that the android population joining us iOS users on here. Furthermore, I think everybody would love this app. Please continue to make this more fun, fair and accessible to the blind on both sides. Thank you!

### 4/5 — No option for notifications

*2026-04-09*

The game is fun so far
Please add notification option to game so I know when opponent has gone.

**Developer response:** Notifications should be working. I will look into it.

### 4/5 — The second app from this developer whose embedded accessibility in Wright from the start

*2026-04-09*

I first heard about this app just a week or so ago, and being a regular player of your Dice World app, I thought I'd give it a go when a friend recommended. Only two games at present, but this could be really addictive. I'm on my first card game and I'm really enjoying it. I love the fact that this is more down to strategy than look whereas the Dice World game seems to hinge so much on the role of the dice which, obviously, it will. Please keep up the good work and well done for thinking of your voice over users right from the start. I will play this game if for no other reason than that. We need more developers like you. Well done. Keep up the good work

**Developer response:** Thank You! How do I squeeze that extra star out of you? Send your concerns or issues to support and I will get it resolved :)

### 4/5 — Very fun game.

*2026-04-09*

I have been having a lot of fun with this game. For the time being it is definitely a bit basic in terms of game selection, but I imagine this will only grow itself up with time. The developer has been very responsive to feedback, and the app is updated regularly. My only gripe is the minimal game selection, however this doesn't diminish my enjoyment of the app, the game is entertaining regardless and any new games added would be a good bonus. I always appreciate more accessible games coming out.

**Developer response:** Thank you. You are right that the game selection is still early, and growing it is a priority. I appreciate you playing and sending feedback.

### 5/5 — Best for blind folks

*2026-08-26*

The tutorial is simple. The format is perfect and what doesn't need manually sorted out is automatically sorted out for you. The score is clear your opponents actions are clear and the tips are incredible. All card games should come from a company like this. I want Texas hold them from this company for the blind. Thank you

### 5/5 — Very fun game.

*2026-08-22*

This game is a lot of fun. At the time of writing this there are 4 games included and seemingly many more are planned. I appreciate the accessibility attention from this developer, all of the games and features work very well with voiceover which is very good. I can get enjoyment out of this app and I figure it will only get better with time as new games and features become available.

**Developer response:** Thank you. You are right that the game selection is still early, and growing it is a priority. I appreciate you playing and sending feedback.

Card World

Card World is a great app and I’m really enjoying playing it. The game is very accessible, easy to use, and fun to play. I love how it makes card games more enjoyable and welcoming for everyone. It’s a simple, fun, and accessible game that I would definitely recommend. ❤️

### 5/5 — I would rate this even higher if I could

*2026-07-07*

Hey everyone, Melanie here, I ❤️ Dice World, and now I ❤️ Card World just as much. I would love to see more accessible card games, such as Crazy Eights, Uno, Poker, Canasta, and maybe even a couple of card games for younger players, I would love to have something that I can play with my grandkids. This is the best developer I have ever come across. When I first encountered Dice World, it was a mess as far as accessibility goes, but after time and a lot of effort by him, he learned how to use voiceover, and how to develop his games for not only the sighted world, but also for the visually impaired world as well, so that we all can enjoy playing with our sighted friends and family. Thanks so much for all of the time and effort that you have put into your games, you put a lot of heart and soul into each one. A+++++ to you. ♥️♠️♦️♣️

### 5/5 — I really, really love this app

*2026-06-06*

I really love this app, but I wish there were more card games like spades or TONK those are also classics alongside Remi and G. This app has absolutely become a part of my everyday life and peace. Can you please look into the game called Cantina. It’s like a Rummy 500 on steroids lol or do you think it would ever be possible for us to be able to do more than two multiplayer online matches if you were to develop more card games?U

**Developer response:** Thank you for such a warm review. I’m glad Card World has become part of your everyday peace, and I appreciate the card game and multiplayer suggestions.

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2026-05-23*

Thank you for the updates and information now I have one suggestion if you can can you add some Dice World sound effects for some of the Card World features like when you win or lose some of that sounds like a splat or the fog horn or any of those sounds? Also, one game I suggest maybe you can add scopa. and if you can, can you please add Uno to the list Uno is our all-time favorites one of Blind community. for the characters, could you add actors that will say comments when you draw or play a card? I appreciate your support to this game and also could you advertise Dice World for one of the video ads when you watch videos for gems? Thanks.

**Developer response:** Thank you for reporting this. I’m sorry you hit the loading screen and error messages after playing. I’m looking into the update/restart and loading flow now, and details like when it happened are very helpful. If you see it again, please send anything you notice through support so I can track it down faster.

### 5/5 — This game is really fun and awesome.

### 5/5 — Errors

*2026-05-20*

When I tried going into the game this afternoon, it was on a loading screen after I played a few games and then when I tried to get out of the game, it still gave me errors. I’m wondering if there’s going to be another update to fix this or if this update needs a little bit more work? If so, please let me know. Thank you.

### 5/5 — This game is fun wish there were other card games to play

*2026-05-16*

👍

**Developer response:** Thank you. I’m glad you’re having fun with Card World, and I appreciate the request for more card games.
