### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-02-20, version 2.4.5*

As the title says. Has replaced Apple’s Contacts.app for me. Latest Apple Beta update has broken it though. Just crashes on opening on both iPhone and iPad

### 3/5 — Add dailer

*2025-12-14*

Add dailer in app

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We will keep this in mind in case it becomes possible in the future.

### 3/5 — Not much customization

*2025-09-22, version 2.4*

I didn’t understand the random colors assigned to the initials icons. I’d like to be able to designate colors for different types of contacts or even different icons to choose from.

### 4/5 — Excellent app missing one feature

*2025-09-10*

I am a real fan of this app. It’s almost perfect lacking only one feature: the ability to chose the fields of a contact before sharing. This is really important as Cardhop is a gold mine of information and not all of it should be shared.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We have passed this to our team to keep in mind.

### 2/5 — Card Scanning needs work

*2025-07-19, version 2.3.7*

Need to use Fantastical integration with your calendar to make this app worthwhile.

Unfortunately I found the business card scanning feature to be wanting and gave up after I was correcting more information scanned into the wrong field and adding additional files that were not detected.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-05-26*

Excellente application mais manque l’intégration à Apple Watch

### 5/5 — Easy to use with great features

*2025-04-16, version 2.3.5*

I love this app. Features like business card capture are helpful.

### 3/5 — Nice but ,,,

*2025-04-02, version 2.3.5*

I used to enjoy this app, but it's no longer useful for me. Given the cost and the fact that I have just over a hundred contacts, it doesn’t meet my needs anymore. I’m considering switching to a native app since it provides the functions and cost that can not be beat for an address book. .

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2025-02-02, version 2.3.3*

This is a wonderful app that sinks with the regular Mac and iOS address book. It is great that the developers continue to support it on a regular basis.

### 5/5 — Brilliant app for contact creation and management

*2025-01-13, version 2.3.3*

I have been using Cardhop for a while (years) now and the simplicity to load and find contacts is superior to other products in the market. Cardhop was using natural language input way before everyone else and contacts is such an easy interface replacement for apple contacts, even though it uses apple contacts as the primary database on my phone. Simple, elegant and sophisticated- what more could one want. Well, it has phone, ipad and mac version so I can use the same app across multiple devices without issues. Nice

### 5/5 — Much needed contact management app

*2024-12-04, version 2.3.2*

How many times have you just wanted to copy name, address, phone and website details from someone’s email signature and add it to your contacts? Well you can with Cardhop. It amazes me that Apple has not yet built this function into the OS, especially with Apple Intelligence on-board. This app is a lifesaver. Give it a shot. You will love it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Deceased dates don’t display

*2026-06-21, version 2.4.7*

Cardhop has a feature to display deceased dates for contacts along with birthdays and anniversaries. The birthday and anniversary features works but the deceased does not. They are aware but won’t fix it. Why have a feature that doesn’t work?

### 1/5 — If I could give this app 0 stars I would

*2026-05-13, version 2.4.7*

Can’t even manage anything with the business card without a subscription.

### 1/5 — Why account

*2026-03-25*

I don’t want to create an account to use “fully local” app. Why is that required?

Few years later, account is still required. Why? (I see no point in contacting support)

**Developer response:** Sorry for the trouble. Can you please reach out to flexibits.com/contact so that we can get a closer look at this?

### 1/5 — Does not work with Vision 26

*2026-03-02, version 2.4.5*

No longer opens.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-02-24, version 2.4.5*

Doesn’t work, I press to start and nothing…

### 1/5 — Latest version crashes

*2026-02-20, version 2.4.5*

This latest version 2.4.5 crashes upon opening. 100% unusable.

### 1/5 — Pourquoi avoir changé ?

*2025-11-14*

### 1/5 — Done with

*2025-09-20, version 2.4*

Why do I need this instead of iOS contacts? This app has gone the way of subscriptions just like Fantastical and is too costly for what it is. As a long time and original user, Flexibits ruined all their products years ago.

### 1/5 — Unusable, sign-up account infinite loop

*2025-09-02, version 2.3.7*

Unusable, sign-up account infinite loop

### 1/5 — Hippity-hop to the Cardhop trash

*2024-11-19, version 2.3.2*

Absolutely terrible app that is a device syning nightmare, contacts mysteriously disappear, or are not saved completely. Its bad when youbare forced to use Apple’s contacts to enter people / organizations because they dissapear from Cardhop. Nice idea; very poorly executed. Subscription ended, app killed, app deleted forever! Same fate as Fantastical.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wonderful Contacts Replacement

*2026-08-16, version 2.4.8*

I’ve been using Cardhop for several years now, and have never looked back. It’s beautifully crafted, and makes a more Apple-like app than Apple’s own Contacts. It also works with the same database. Open it for the first time and all of your contacts are right there. If you work with your contacts you should give it a go. There’s absolutely nothing to lose!

### 5/5 — Good App

*2026-07-29*

I have been using this since I saw an early review of it in a Mac / iOS publication.

It is a very nice app and is being updated regularly, and will I am sure keep improving. I recommend it.

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Puts competition to shame

*2026-07-29*

I searched for personal crms and contacts but never found this which puts them all to shame . Pls update your seo. It’s user friendly, visually pleasing whole having great ux and non intrusive pricing .its perfect, for now .

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it.

### 5/5 — On principle

*2026-07-27*

It has been 3 years and 25 updates since the last review (update history doesn’t go further back!!).

At that point it’s better to do an internal survey for everyone using fantastical (I am trying that app now) and completely refreshing the app (new name or card hopper 2 etc).

Until I get a better opinion I will leave this on 5 star, on principle, for your “no man’s sky” level of dev effort (look it up 😊)

### 5/5 — Great App Well Supported

*2026-05-14, version 2.4.7*

I've used Cardhop since it was originally released. Is that over 10 years now? It has become such an integral part of my daily life that I would be very upset if it went away. The app is very well documented, has some extraordinarily advanced features that make adding contacts easier and their Customer Support support is no less than five star in terms of their responsiveness. It works, when it doesn't work, they make it work.

### 5/5 — Constantly improving

*2026-04-07, version 2.4.7*

Thrilled that a feature request of mine from 2 years ago just got released (comma between city & state in addresses)! The Cardhop team is constantly iterating and improving and I continue to prefer the experience over the native contacts app. Keep it up!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Contacts Manager

*2026-03-03, version 2.4.6*

Cardhop is an excellent contacts manager for iOS. I’m using it to manage contacts across iCloud and our own external servers. Thoughtful touches abound. I regularly appreciate the flexibility it gives in editing contact field names as well as the usual contact card edits. Recommended.

### 5/5 — Great Program

*2026-02-23, version 2.4.5*

Cardhop is crashing in ios 26.4 beta 1. I love the program. Just wanted to let you know.

### 5/5 — Good

*2025-11-29, version 2.4.2*

Exnt

### 5/5 — i like it

*2025-10-02*

ok over all i really like the app and the way everything works as it should you could think this was a kinda better version of the iOS app. one small problem i’d like to see the availability to add birthdays without adding a contact card, as for now i have lots of blank contact cards for the family kids, but i really do like it, thanks

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We will keep his in mind going forward.
