### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Apple Health

*2026-08-16*

Doesnt work with Apple Health.

Doesn’t really do anything other than show you your heart rate, which many other apps do for free.

No answers from support

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear about your experience. Cardiogram can read heart rate and workout data from Apple Health, including data recorded by Apple Watch and other compatible sources. We also do answer support requests, although sometimes replies can end up in spam or junk folders. Please contact us with more details and we’ll be happy to help.

### 1/5 — Could not get to work

*2022-01-28*

Could not get this app to work wish these was a way to try out apps before you buy…do not recommend

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear that. Please tap on Settings, scroll to the end and tap Support. Send us the HR device model you are using and describe the problem you have. Very often the problem is that your device is already paired with another app.

### 1/5 — Frustrating experience , refund plz

*2020-05-17*

No prompt to sync, support page points to twitter 💁

**Developer response:** Hi,

Sorry to hear that you cannot use our app. Please drop us an email at contact@mindeon.com with your heart rate device/sensor type and will do our best to help you.
We have no control over the refund, please use the App Store to ask for a refund.

Thank you

### 1/5 — Frustrating .. caution

*2020-03-21*

There’s no real channel for support. Would not recognize attached polar hr device. Nothing on support site trouble shooting. No clear path to contact dev. Reboots, restarts, repairing BT device. Wasted too much time already. 2 bucks total toilet flush.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear that you had troubles. Please let me know what Polar sensor did you have ?
With Polar sensors the app works pretty straight forward: start the sensor, make sure you don’t have it connected with another app and press Start. Also it might help if you update the sensor firmware to the latest version. You can find informations about how to do that in your Polar app.

### 3/5 — Works well

*2025-11-27*

Works well for recording heart rate during workouts with good privacy protection. Would be nice if it could also record GPS position so I could correlate where I was on my ride with the heart rate data.

### 3/5 — Overall great, with show stopping recent problem

*2025-03-10*

I’ve been a happy user of Cardiogram for some years, but as of the most recent update (in February 2025, I believe) it’s no longer writing HR samples to Apple Health for me. This is the only reason I use Cardiogram, as a kind of relay between my Bluetooth HR strap & the Apple Health database. (Which is to say, I don’t use its “workout” features.) I’m not able to access the Facebook page that the App Store support links to, so am posting here to give some visibility to the developer. Thanks.

**Developer response:** please update to the latest version ... we solved your problem

thank you again for your feedback and patience

### 3/5 — Great app but

*2021-09-12*

Great little app that helps me with monitoring my hr from chest sensor. There are few missing functions like adding notes or ability to select type of workout run, yoga, weights. I would like to be able to calculate calories and see battery level of my sensor. There are few bugs when changing screens. Overall great app and I can’t wait to see what future updates will bring.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review and. suggestions
We just updated the app, fixed the changing screen bug and optimized it for iOS 15. We already working to add notes for workouts and will soon come up with an update.

### 4/5 — iPad app

*2026-07-12*

the version for iPad does not save any sessions and crashes every time you stop the measuring. iPadOS 17.7.11

### 4/5 — Feedback

*2023-08-07*

Should allow option to select activity as sleep

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and review. Will try to add it in the next updates.

### 4/5 — Great simple App

*2022-09-07*

Get 5 stars when integrate a custom activity. While sleep tracking I dont want to select one of the existing exercise modes.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A great little app!

*2023-10-30*

This is a super little app for those that don’t have (and don’t want) an Apple Watch… it does exactly what it says on the tin.

For me - being very privacy conscious - probably the single biggest benefit is that there’s no need to register or worry about having all your details harvested by some anonymous 3rd party and used for goodness knows what purposes.

Integrated seamlessly with my Coospo HW706 heart rate monitor (purchased in 2023) and Apple Health.

Yes I’d like a few more features (such as being able to add a custom workout type, for example) - but for the money I’m delighted.

### 5/5 — Simple, uncomplicated HR monitor

*2020-12-09*

I love the simplicity of this app! Nothing being uploaded to 3rd party servers, no ads, and pairs up with Garmin HRM’s (I’ve used HRM-Pro, HRM-Dual).
There are some features I’d like to see but then that would add complexity to a wonderfully simple app.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your review, we’re glad you’re enjoying the app!

If you have any suggestions or feedback on how to improve Cardiogram, feel free to email us at contact@mindeon.com 👌

### 5/5 — Well worth the money.

*2020-08-28*

This is a fabulous app. It synced with my CooSpo H6 Heart Rate Monitor (Chest Strap) Sensor with no problem via iPhone. When I posted a question re the app I received a prompt reply. You can’t get better than that.👏

### 5/5 — I’m really happy I came across this app!

*2020-02-25*

I check my pulse on a daily basis as I have a heart condition and I’ve found this app to be very reliable. It also lets me track my heart rate for longer periods of time

Surprisingly I managed to connect it to my Mi Band straight away with no issues, which has always been a hassle with other apps I’ve tried 👍

### 4/5 — Nice App

*2021-12-08*

Nice working and looking app. Thanks! May I add two feature wishes: 1) Could you please add “rowing” as activity. 2) It would be nice if the Herat rate is measured/displayed even when no workout is active. E.g. while cool down, where I don’t want the data to be recorded for Health.

### 4/5 — Ok avec Mi band 3

*2019-10-01*

Finalement sa marche avec le mi band 3 et mon iPhone 5+
Je révise donc mon premier jugement

**Developer response:** Hi,
Please let me know which iPhone/ iOS app did you use.
Here it is a short to do list which might help:
- start your mi fit app and check if your mi band 3 is connecting and sync with your phone;
- set “Pairing restrictions” in mi fit app to “off”
- start Cardiogram and press the Start button; a green gradient will start pulsing and also the band will vibrate, showing the connection was made; after 10-15 seconds the app will start monitoring your heart rate.
Please drop us a line on Twitter @cardiogramapps or on Facebook @cardiogramapp if you still not able to connect and will try to help further.
Please note that we didn’t fully tested for mi band 4 and not have a stable release for that, although we have positive feedbacks that it is working fine.

Thank you
