Scan a card once and never check it twice. cardlio shows you exactly what it read, flags the fields it wasn't sure of, and zooms to that spot on the card so you can confirm in a second — instead of re-reading every contact you save. If cardlio vanished tomorrow, everything you scanned would still be yours, and still readable. No tracking, no analytics, no server reading your contacts. Office 365 and Google sync send contacts only to your own account with those services. Optionally bring your own AI key for the trickiest cards — off by default. cardlio is also on the Mac App Store — one library, every machine. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 3.1 — 2026-09-19 Team library, sharper. A team you just joined appears at once. Add all N unclaimed takes every open lead in one go, Refresh (or pull down) shows what colleagues added, and a card someone else claimed can still be added to your own library as a copy. Two people can no longer claim the same lead in the same second. Your team in any browser, now two-way. At team.cardlio.app, colleagues without an iPhone can add contacts by typing them in or dropping a vCard file (photo included), fix a typo for the whole team, claim all, release a claim, and download everything as one ZIP. New cards arrive while the page is open, and it installs like an app on any computer or phone. Edits that land, stay. A refine, a pronunciation guide or an industry tag is saved the moment it arrives, even if you leave the card right away. CRM webhook. A lead that couldn't reach your webhook is no longer lost: a banner keeps it, with Send again one tap away. Sync. If an Office 365 or Google Contacts sync can't save its progress, it says so and re-checks next time instead of creating duplicates; cancelling an Office 365 sync stops it at once. Scanning. Big PDFs and photo batches use far less memory, and Stop takes effect sooner. Also. Open in Maps labels the pin with the address. Rebuilt with Swift 6's stricter checks, which closed a number of rare crashes and lost-edit cases. ### 3.0.3 — 2026-09-18 Team libraries. At a fair you're rarely scanning alone. Create a team for the event, invite colleagues by their Apple Account, and share the cards you choose into one library the whole stand can see. Tap a card to read it in full, then claim the leads you'll follow up, so nobody calls the same person twice. Nothing is shared automatically, and it all runs through iCloud: there's still no server of ours. Find it under More → Team Library, or on the event chip while Event mode is on. Your team in any browser. Not everyone on the stand carries an iPhone. At team.cardlio.app, colleagues sign in with their Apple Account, join from the link you send (Copy Web Link in the team's people list), search the cards, claim leads, and download them as vCard or CSV. Stop a scan. Dropped in a longer PDF than you meant to? Tap Stop on the scan overlay. The cards already read go to review as usual; the rest are simply never started. Private Cloud Compute, offered once. On iOS 27, cardlio asks one time whether to refine cards with Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Either answer sticks, and you can change it in Settings. Pick who writes the company news. Company Insights has its own provider setting now, so you can refine cards with Apple's model and still get company news from Claude or Gemini. Sharper reading. Chinese names come out in the right order, bilingual street addresses are read as one, and more Taiwanese cards read correctly. Sturdier sync. Office 365 and Google Contacts sync stop retrying forever when the service is down, and an interrupted sync no longer leaves duplicates behind. Lighter library. Card photos take less space, and thumbnails load faster in big libraries. Fixes. If a change can't be saved, cardlio tells you instead of failing silently. Fixes a crash on some cards laid out as tables. ### 2.6.15 — 2026-09-16 Made for iOS 27. Ask Siri about your cards. Siri now knows your cards as people. Ask “who did I meet at the expo who does logistics?” and it answers from your library, or say “text the person from Tristar” and the card goes straight to Messages. It’s the same index Spotlight already keeps — nothing leaves your iPhone. Point the camera at a card. Hold the Camera Control or open visual intelligence, tap Search, and cardlio appears with the name and company already read. Tap it and the review sheet opens with every card on that frame. Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. Refine name, title and company with Apple’s much larger model — no API key, no account, and Apple’s servers keep nothing. Pick it as the provider in Settings and it runs the Refine button, the pronunciation guide, industry tags and the automatic polish. Settings shows where you stand against Apple’s daily limit, and when it’s reached the polish simply continues on your iPhone. QR codes that link to a contact page.
