Cards is a recipe app designed for your recipes, your family's long held traditions, all those cards sitting in box files or books. It was created for you to store, share, and modify those beloved recipes. It was designed from the ground up for ease of use and style. There are many recipe apps out there, but most are designed for other people's recipes, or over crowded with tons of features most of us will never use, and a lack of style on the features you do use. We started with the basics of creating, managing, and sharing recipes, and worked to get those right first. Cards is iCloud enabled, so that you always have your recipes with you. Someone love your casserole at a pot-luck? Simply send the recipe to from your iPhone to their iPad to them via AirDrop, or email it, message it, tweet it, or post it to your wall! Also compatible on iOS 8 with third party sharing services such as Tumblr and Pinterest*. Cards has a number of recipe management features that do their best to not get in the way of you using them, or looking great, including tags and books. Crashes frequently & doesn't work at all on MACOS Sierra. Even on previous versions it lost ingredients from the list, lost entire recipes, duplicated steps & recipes. If you value your recipes use something else instead! ### 1/5 — Does not even save text fields. Ridiculous. :-( *2014-11-17* This looked like a great app, and indeed it has great potential.... however I think I just threw away $7. The layout and interface *look* good, however nothing actually *works*. I created my first recipe and already I have had to re-type the title and author name 6 times.... because each time it reverts to blank again. I have typed it and saved it 6 times, and each time it simply vanishes. Same thing with the names of tags. I created 2 new tags and only one of them saved with its non-default name. These problems are beyond 'functionality' issues... the app simply does not even perform the most rudimentary functions such as saving text fields! Oy. ### 3/5 — A good idea getting better *2014-08-18* This is an app with potential, however it is full of glitches at present. Definitely needs some serious work. Suggest that developers put a full working trial so as to see if it is ok to use. I'm contacting apple for a refund, sick of wasting time, only to have the app drop out every time I try to add more than two tags and when trying to get it to sync with cloud. Hopefully this developer is able to get the app working correctly, as he does get back to answer questions, but the instructions are too vague and at $8.69 for the app, it's just too exe.😱 N.B. Subject to the above review, I have had the distinct privilege of working with developer. Daniel has been very patient and helpful, showing that he does have the interest of his clients and the improvement of the app his priority.
