## What is CardVault?

CardVault is a smart business card scanner that instantly digitizes and organizes your contacts — while keeping every card completely private.

Your card data never leaves your device. Scanning and text recognition run entirely on-device, and your cards are stored only on your iPhone and your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit). Nothing is ever uploaded to our servers, shared with advertisers, or sent to any third party.

Simply scan a business card with your camera, and advanced on-device OCR automatically extracts key information — name, company, title, phone, email, address, and more. For even better accuracy, an optional on-device AI model (Google Gemma) works alongside OCR to understand each card and sort the details correctly — and it runs entirely on your iPhone, so your data still never leaves your device. Supports Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) business cards.
