It lost my trust. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t always work *2023-04-22* Location services always on for both devices, app running in background and still more often than not when testing the device it doesn’t send an alert. This is completely unreliable and I would not recommend anyone getting this. ### 2/5 — Always on location *2020-08-27, version 1.0.6* As an Emergency contact I should not need to set my location as always. If my setting are not set to always then the app won’t let me go in and use it. **Developer response:** Hi Alix, thanks very much for your kindly feedback. This setting is for the app can always transmit location info to protectors even while it's running in the background, rather than having to keep the app open all the time. ### 3/5 — It works great but… *2021-06-11, version 1.0.8* It works great for a number of things I didn’t even realize when I purchased it for my parent. My issue is that location service must be turned on at all times for the responder. I completely agree that it must be turned on for the person wearing/using the Care Go, but I don’t understand why the people receiving the alert messages must always have it turned on also. It is a battery hog. I am not Using the app except for when I receive the notification, so it seems like I should be able to have it set to only when in use. Get that fixed and this becomes a 4.5 star product. The other half star can be earned if charging is made easier. ### 3/5 — Location services “always on” *2021-06-11, version 1.0.8* It makes sense that the person wearing the device would need location services to be “always on” but the affiliated protector accounts should be able to have “when in use” as an option. If the device works as claimed then Protectors should get a push notification of an emergency which would prompt them to open the app and be “in use”. ### 4/5 — Great concept, app updated to use text and email registration codes *2020-06-23, version 1.0.3* Revision resolved my issue of only having text code for registration. Adding email as backup will be valuable alternative. Thanks to their support people for prompt attention to this. Hope the app and featur keep improving. Add to tutorial how to charge. Not intuitive. Add battery % number more easily visible. Follow me mode and other modes are too hidden away.
