## What is CARE KY?

The University of Kentucky's Center for Health Services Research (CHSR) has developed CARE KY in collaboration with the Kentucky Consortium for Accountable Health Communities project. The project connects the residents of all 120 counties in the state of Kentucky to the community resources they need. This application was designed as a companion for www.care-ky.org that does not require an internet connection. 

Search CARE KY for free or reduced-cost programs that can help to meet your needs with things like food, housing, transportation, utilities, family and community support, and personal safety.

We have now expanded our target area to include the all the counties in Kentucky.

Such a great resource to help low income families and those in need of services. It’s always difficult to look up food, transportation, or other services individually, I love having them all at hand.  This is Really great for social workers, food pantry workers, community based services and case management, and doctors offices to help their clients!

Updated our Community Resource Inventory (CRI) to provide the most up-to-date information. Included support for iOS 12 and new iPhone devices (iPhone XS/XS Max/XR). CARE KY is now in the process of expanding our target area to include the following counties: Breathitt, Clark, Garrard, Johnson, Knott, Laurel, Lincoln, Menifee, Morgan, Powell, Rockcastle, and Wolfe. These updates will be added before the end of the year (2018).
