The app is a big improvement in terms of finding patients and results and as the huge benefit of being usable on a personal device. However, the biggest issue is being constantly logged out, often many times a day, which makes the app almost unusable in practice. The desktop system is great but having the app on your phone so you can update info on the handover list wherever you are without the dreaded “someone else is using this list, create a local copy for merge”later message.
