One time it took me so log to do this I discarded my time for that day, so I lost one day of pay because of this app. I call help desk they tell me to uninstall and reinstall but still does the same thing. I got an email to change my password, so I did and that didn’t work. A week later got another email saying change password so I called help desk and the said I must have hit that button that I forgot password, I told him I didn’t see how on a bioscan! This app is terrible! Please fix it… and has anyone seen how small the patient sign box is, can’t fit a long name in it! Why? ### 2/5 — Fix the app because it’s always had problems *2026-05-27* Every time I try logging in with my passcode I end up being asked for my login to the portal. Input that info, click on the square, hit login, and it forever syncs. I close the app and reopen till I eventually get the keypad for my password. This needs to be fixed!!! Also, I have it set to notify me when work duration has ended and it rarely works. I have to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to logout. Please fix these problems. The app also requires location services and collects location where the individual is clocking in and clocking out which holds the employee accountable. The caregiver app does have its glitches but all technology has issues sometimes. For the most part it is a good app. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2026-04-09* When it’s functioning, this app makes clocking in and out and getting paid easy. The problem is that it frequently isn’t working. It logs me out of the app in the middle of the work day and can take 5+ minutes to synch when logging back in. When clocking out it will skip over the sign and submit page, not loading that page into the next work day. I’ve clocked in and then found that it didn’t save when I went to clock out. I’ve clocked out on a Friday and discovered Monday that it never actually stoped the timer. For the past 2 weeks, I’ve had to log in to the app and renter a passcode every time that I’ve opened the app. ### 2/5 — App not working *2026-04-07, version 5.6.1* The app no longer takes facial id. I have to put in my passcodes and then wait three minutes for it to sync. Customer service no help. Said to delete and reinstall. I’ve done it ten times. I called GT customer service. and was told that an update was done to the app and they’re trying to find the problem. It’s beyond frustrating that every time I go to clock in/out I have to sign in first. I wish they would have just left this app alone. First, the GT Caregiver app no longer works with my password manager, so I must manually connect the manager an search for the entry for the app. Secondly, once I hit SIGN IN, it requires me to “create a passcode”. This happens every single time I try to sign in, as if it doesn’t remember I already created a passcode yesterday. Finally, after I enter the passcode, it shows “syncing” …forever! The only way to actually get in to the app is to swipe the app closed and restart it, then it finally starts the app and shows my data. Very frustrating! Please fix this. On another note, it would be extremely helpful if the app would show totals of hours worked BY TYPE. For example, instead of only showing total hours worked on a day, show hours worked by service code (personal care, supportive home care, respite, etc.) ### 1/5 — The Glitches are sad *2026-03-29, version 5.6.1* Logs me out every day, makes me create a new pin every time I open the app, will log me out in the middle of clocking out. I’ve been with this company since 2019 and it’s just gotten worse every year. This app takes forever to open and even if you save your Face ID or fingerprint ID to open the app, it blanks it out and you have to put everything in again. You have have to agree to the terms again, login and then it ask you to create a passcode each and every time when you’ve already created a passcode (in my case three years ago). This is unacceptable considering it is the only way Caregiver’s have to document their time and unfortunately, we can no longer submit paper timesheets. There is no alternative and complaining has done. No good. It’s actually getting so bad that I’m considering changing companies that handle my payroll. It is frustrating for myself and my employee. It was valuable time. I don’t have to waste. Do better or lose your customers. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2026-04-23, version 5.6.1* Easy to use, works 99% of the time and when it doesn’t I just call customer service and they solve the problem! ### 5/5 — Clock in *2025-05-19* The only reason it won’t let me clock in sometimes is because of Apple security updates on the software iOS 18 it requires you to change your iCloud password multiple times. Because the application is in the App Store it could take an hour or two by the time you get it downloaded and you have to wait until after 8 AM so if you’re supposed to be clocking in at five or 6 AM, you’re gonna lose a couple hours of work you might even lose that whole day or whole couple of days especially if it’s around a holiday. There’s no way to fix this because it has to do with the Apple phone. The app itself is working smoothly. The only reason I uninstalled the app was because the face of the app was all white and I couldn’t clock in.
