## What is Carehood?

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH IN YOUR SMARTPHONE AND TABLET

Safety is a common goal for you and your neighbors. By cooperating in Carehood, you can make your neighborhood safer and more secure. But Carehood is about more than crime and crime prevention.

* If you need help keeping an extra eye on your house when you travel.
* If you are in a medical emergency.
* If there is a burglary.
* If you need a plummer and want recommendations from your neighbors.
* If you want to report suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
* If you find a lost pet.
* If you are looking for a jogging companion.
* If you want to find a dog walker.

We built Carehood to get you closer to your neighbors when you need them.

WHAT IS A CAREHOOD?

Carehood is a members only area in the Carehood app. You can discuss, inform and share images with the other members. If you are exposed to crime and need help you can send alarms to your carehood. A carehood is always tied to a geographic location.

Anyone can start a carehood. As a new Carehood member you can search for interesting carehoods on a map in the app. When you apply for membership in a carehood one of the current members has to approve your application before you can join the discussions. You can start and join as many carehoods as you like and there are no limits on the number of members a carehood can have. The founder of a carehood is just a founder. People joining becomes members on the same terms as the founder.

Carehood is a multi purpose service and can be used for much more than neighborhood watch. Many groups and organizations can benefit from using Carehood.

Carehood works in most smartphones, tablets and web browsers.

Note: Carehood is not meant to replace other emergency services. It is a compliment that in a best case scenario can get you help quicker by the people in your neighborhood. This, we hope, will make people feel more safe.

SUBSCRIPTION TO INFINITE CAREHOODS

Anyone can download the app and join one carehood for free. They can also start any number of carehoods for free. If you like the app, and want to join more than one carehood, there is an annual subscription fee of 5 USD a year. With the subscription you can join any number of carehoods. 

The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before renewal. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can cancel auto-renewal by going to the Account Settings after purchase.

Confusing. The app needs to describe what a carehood is and basically describe every step that is taken until the user says they don’t need instructions anymore. I have no clue how to add people either
