## What is CareMAR Caregiver?

CareMAR Caregiver is the on-shift companion for staff in licensed residential
care homes. It is the caregiver half of CareMAR, and it is for people working
a shift — not for residents or their families.

WHAT YOU DO WITH IT

• Run a med pass. Every dose shows when it is due and who it is for. One tap
records it with the time, your initials and your name, the way a paper MAR
  would, without the handwriting.
• Photograph a bottle, a monitor reading, a form or a paper note. The photo is
filed against the right resident and the right record for you, so nothing
waits in a camera roll for somebody to type it up later.
• Record blood pressure and blood glucose readings at the bedside.
• Read and write shift notes, and leave a handoff the next caregiver actually
  sees when they arrive.
• Sign residents out and back in, log visitors, and record disaster drills.
• Open a resident's emergency 911 file when paramedics need it.

WHO IT IS FOR

Staff at homes that already use CareMAR. You sign in with the password your
administrator gives you — there is no public sign-up, and the app shows only
the home you are rostered at.

PRIVACY

The app shows resident health information to the staff responsible for that
care. It is not advertising-supported, and nothing in it is sold or shared for
advertising. See caremar.org/privacy.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-28

How-to guides now open inside the app (menu → How-to guides).

Time clock:
• Clock In right from Home when your shift starts.
• End Shift tries your clock-out again if it didn't go through.
• Forgot to clock out? Say what time you left; the office checks it.
• A reminder if you're still on the clock after your shift ends.
• No signal? Your punch is saved on the device and sent with the time you tapped.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-22

- Giving a dose no longer moves the screen: the meds stay listed as Given, and you swipe to the next resident when you're ready.
- The keyboard no longer covers fields or buttons.
- If a list can't load, you see "Couldn't load" with a Retry button instead of an empty list.
- Print the MAR from inside the app.
- Number keypads for vitals, and Enter saves.
