This allows me to prioritize !! ### 3/5 — Interview was a waste of time *2025-07-17, version 3.4.5* The interview was a waste of time they advertised contracts that weren’t really available at the time. ### 4/5 — So far so good *2024-01-03, version 2.4.19* Except for the prolonged onboarding, everything else has been pretty good. Pay is on time. Always got a notice for delayed pay if it’s holiday. But always got a notice when the pay is on its way as well. Fits my schedule perfectly fine. Just wish it could associate with more facilities in my area. ### 3/5 — It seems to be very glitchy *2023-08-18, version 2.4.6* It often won’t let me log in or has me log in multiple times via Face ID and then manual and then Face ID (repeat over and over). I will be trying to look at my shifts and it will say none which isn’t true. ### 1/5 — Poor support *2023-03-28, version 2.3.5* The app is well-made and functions very well. My disappointment comes when I have to deal with this support. Perhaps it’s just my individual experiences or my individual market but it seems like the support team just doesn’t want you to work! After being credentialed, I’ve tried to pick up shifts for weeks! With no help from anyone. Thank you for sharing! ### 2/5 — Vaccine exemption *2023-01-20, version 2.0.1* Care Rev had ‘Covid Vaccine Required’ on one of the requirements for a hospital in LA. I knew the hospital accepted exemptions and called their HR office to confirm. Care Rev insisted is is a requirement when this was not the case and the hospital HR told me they will accept a Religious Exemption. Care Rev would not submit me to the job. ### 1/5 — impossible *2023-01-06, version 2.2.6* i was born in 1990 before electronic documentation. ive submitted ever medical information they asked me for but it was all rejected because theres no lot number listed for the vaccines that i received as a baby. WHAT? so they wanted me to make an appointment to get tieters drawn. My physican even agreed that was ridiculous. I had Dtap because that was what was available in 1990 but they want tdap. ITS THE SAME THING. ive never had issues with that. im all set yall can keep yall app for people born after emar. ### 3/5 — Longonboarding *2022-12-28, version 2.2.6* Very long onboarding process, make sure you have funds available for TB Testing, Fit testing etc. you have to come out of pocket for everything except for the drug test. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — WARNING: Onboarding Bait & Switch Trap for Specialized RNs *2026-07-16, version 3.5.4* If you are a high-acuity specialty RN (NICU, PICU), do not download this app. The signup flow forces you through a rigid process where you cannot select your actual specialty, defaults your location to other states, and shows insulting $20/hr shifts without allowing you to edit your profile or back out. Complete waste of time and highly disrespectful to experienced nurses. ### 1/5 — Waist of Time *2026-07-13, version 3.5.3* I have no words… this is an app that is non user friendly and if I have to log in one more time. I can’t get past first base with all the gibberish…. What is this??? I don’t have time to chase my tail. ### 1/5 — Eh *2025-07-20, version 3.4.5* So I have yet to even work at a facility. I uploaded all of my documents and then had to check back everyday to schedule a phone call with their staff in order to proceed. I finally got one but she didn’t tell me that it would probably be another month to start working if at all. On the call, I explained I move around a lot and would like to pickup shifts where I’m at. I checked where I’m at, the nearest facility is an hour away but there are several shifts available. A rep from CareRev texts me, the facility doesn’t have any availability to orient for another 3 weeks. I can only sign up for that after I finish their credentials process which could take another few weeks on top of the already 2 I’ve been waiting. She asks about the next state I’m going to that shows only 1 shift in the next 90 days. But more may open. 😶‍🌫️ So if you have all the time in the world and in the right location, this app would be great. But for me, so far it’s fall short. I’ve worked for many staffing companies that typically don’t have any orientation. ### 1/5 — States *2024-11-22, version 3.3.4* No offers for GA or AL ### 1/5 — BE AWARE *2024-07-16, version 3.1.9* I’VE WORKED WITH SEVERAL PER DIEM & FULL-TIME TRAVEL & LOCAL CONTRACT NURSING AGENCIES. CARE REV’s FOLLOW-THROUGH, HONESTY & SUPPORT HAS BEEN THE WORST! THE REPS WOULD MAKE YOU DO ALL THESE THINGS FOR THEM, & THEN NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH WITH WHAT THEY SHOULD BE DELIVERING. THEY NEVER PROVIDED ANY ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS, SET ME UP PROPERLY, ENSURE I’M GETTING THE WORK OR ANYTHING. THEY WERE MORE OF A PAIN THAN IT’S WORTH. THE 👏🏽STAFF 👏🏽SUCKKKK! YOU’RE BETTER OFF WORKING FOR AN AGENCY THAT VALUES YOU. ON TO BETTER THINGS 💯 ### 1/5 — Misleading, No Bookable Shifts *2024-06-19, version 3.1.8* The app has lots of shifts listed, but they aren't bookable. If the facilities don't have upcoming scheduled Orientations for Nurses, listing shifts on the app as if they're bookable is misleading. You're better off becoming PRN staff for facilities instead of going through this app. ### 1/5 — Horrible communication *2024-05-14, version 3.1.4* Very quick to cancel an interview, instead of communicating a discrepancy. There are better healthcare worker platforms who value you out there! ### 1/5 — Supposed job openings but no interview slots *2023-07-06, version 2.4.4* Repeated job postings on Indeed which is how I found out about this app. There is never an availability for an interview. Signed up since 5/22, and I check for interview slots almost every day. It’s been 6 weeks and no one has reached out and can’t speak to anyone. Makes me question the safety of my personal information and the actual existence of posted jobs on Indeed. ### 1/5 — Started great but then to poo *2023-06-17, version 2.4.4* I worked with CareRev for 2 years. Long wait list for 3 months but eventually got in. Just like someone else said if you have life happen and have to cancel your shift the day of or cancel ever it counts against you, your percentage drops and you look bad. You can work a shift to increase your score but only rises 0.3% I had a divorce, a thief stole my money, sickness ect for reasons I cancelled my shift. I got the DNS from the hospital. Out of work now for 2 months. I apologized and explained to CareRev about my life but they replied with a copy and paste message that says do not try to explain or reach out, once the hospital put you in DNS, the decision is final I do not recommend this company ### 1/5 — Don’t work there *2023-04-28, version 2.4.0* I was put on Do Not Send list because of the Care Rev App always glitching and me having to cancel multiple shifts due to it causing my attendance to look bad. I had explained to Vanessa and they did not care. I had canceled a few shifts prior and they’re using that against me which is them being unfair. So the app glitches it schedules you shifts that you don’t book and they’ll get you terminated because of it , even if it’s not your fault. And don’t bother trying to explain it to them THEY DONT CARE. They won’t appeal it. Their rates are competitive, they pay out two times a week and they’re 1099! ( a perk I see more frequently among advanced practices, and doctors). The sign up is seamless and I just really love the facility I work at. The only thing I wish for is for them to have more facilities! I love that Im able to pick up shift whenever and I’m in total control of my schedule. Having a kid and not having a permanent babysitter for her… with Carerev I am able to work around my mom/husbands work schedule. The app itself is very user friendly!
