I also have the latest IOS version as well. This needs to be repaired ASAP. It’s quite inconvenient. ### 1/5 — Update error message *2023-03-27, version 9.2* Update error message displayed. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and I get the same error. ### 3/5 — Can’t update app *2023-03-04, version 9.2* The app will no longer let me use it and give me an error message that says I must “upgrade”(I assume they mean update) it but there is no way to update. Totally worthless and per my backup care email received from care.com this is supposedly the only way to reach out to my backup care provider. ### 2/5 — Terrible Functionality *2023-02-08, version 9.2* Almost every single time I open this app a screen pops up and points me to the care.com app for “all of my needs.” That would be great if the actual functionality I needed was in both apps. With this app I have the option to contact the assigned care provider ahead of time, but I am unable to because that window pops up. That window can’t be closed so the only option is to go to care.com app which doesn’t have an option to contact the assigned provider. I’d say that windo pops up 19 out of 20 times I open the app and is incredibly frustrating. My company tell me to use the @app but it’s basically unusable. If care.com app has that functionality I would be fine, but it doesn’t. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2022-12-15, version 9.2* I booked backup care through the care.com app but to contact the sitter it says I have to use the care@work app. Once I sign in on the care@work app it literally won’t let me interact on the app and forces me back to go back to the care.com app, where of course I am not able to contact the sitter ### 1/5 — Fix this app! *2022-12-15, version 9.2* Everytime I try to use it, I receive a notice that I must use Care.com app HOWEVER, it is only in this app that I can contact my care provider! This is not accessible via the care.com app! So, I am forced to log onto care@work app, try to QUICKLY click on the contact screen before the “switch to care.com app” window pops up. There is no way to close this window, so then one has to restart the app everytime if you don’t click to the contact page fast enough. There is no way to contact you via the App support link on this page and also no support contact on your other pages unless someone adds Premium. A very poor way to run your service. Please fix this now. Either put the ability to contact your booked caregivers into the care.com app OR get rid of the pop-up in the care@work app! ### 1/5 — App broken *2022-10-08, version 9.2* Like other reviewers, this app is currently broken on iPhone. It does not have a way to close the care.com pop-up page, thus making the app useless. I am not able to message my back-up providers. Please fix!! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2022-06-20, version 9.2* Immediately, the app prompts me to open care.com but that app doesn't have access to my backup care confirmation, thus no way to access my sitter or messages. ### 1/5 — App Used to work great, now pushes you onto other app *2022-05-22, version 9.2* I used this app frequently for backup care requests through my workplace. The app and service were wonderful, fast and efficient. Recently, care.com has added a pop up every time I open the app requesting that I open the care.com app. There are several things I cannot do on the care.com app that I was preciously using the care @ work app for, most notably the ability to contact my caregiver. On the care.com app I am unable to click into my bookings or contact my caregiver. There is no way to use the care @work app because this pop up redirects you and you are unable to close out of it. ### 1/5 — Terrible service and useless app *2021-12-16, version 8.7.3* Care.com back up care was good back in 2019 and 2020, even through COVID. But as of late 2021, their service is terrible. They cannot find caregivers ever, don’t provide regular updates, caregivers cancel on you last minute, and all Care.com does is refund you which doesn’t go a far way when you are still in need of care. Particularly frustrating when they leave you waiting until the night before and then send an apology note with a refund. ### 1/5 — Unable to adjust the max hourly rate *2021-08-09, version 8.7.3* The app is not formatted correctly for iPhone and will not allow you to reach the right edge of the bar that would let you adjust the maximum hourly rate when searching for a caregiver. ### 1/5 — Reimbursement section error *2021-04-21, version 8.7* Reimbursement section can’t be sorted by year or month. Also, I just noticed my page is all blacked out. Please fix this issue! ### 1/5 — Cannot active? *2020-12-24, version 8.6* When I attempt to activate, there is not ‘active’ button. I put in all my information and the button just disappears. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Frustrating login circle *2023-11-16, version 9.2* I desperately want this app to work but it never does. I’m always sent on a never ending login circle between the Care.com app and the Care@work app. I get a flash of the app and once I tap or engage with the feature I am sent back to the login page. It’s incredibly frustrating and I really wish I could use the app to book and coordinate care, but I always end up having to get on a desktop and login to manage anything. ### 1/5 — App redirects to regular care upon opening *2023-11-14, version 9.2* I’ve tried to review Nannie’s that we’ve used for work care on here but the app keeps redirecting me to the main care app. I can see in the background before the redirect it has a review and details on the work Nannie’s we’ve been sent but there’s no way to access that information. It wouldn’t let me click on things and showed up a message to ask me to use care.com app. But I need to use it to text the nanny. It then generates false phone number. ### 1/5 — App not working *2023-04-10, version 9.2* The app has stopped working- I’m guessing it’s not compatible with the latest iOS update. ### 1/5 — Update Infinite Loop *2023-04-08, version 9.2* Freshly downloaded the current version from Apple Store - on first launch it alerts that an Update is required (odd… I just downloaded it…). Update sends me back to store which confirms I have latest release and only gives me Open option…. Which sends me back to app which wants to update so back to store…. So completely broken, can’t use.
