## What is Cargineer?

Everything about your car, in one place. Cargineer turns simple fuel and service entries into real fuel economy and smart maintenance predictions — the simplest, most beautiful car logbook.

Full-to-Full calculation gives you trustworthy numbers based on actual driving, not rough estimates.

■ Service reminders, ahead of time
By combining mileage and time, Cargineer predicts when engine oil, filters, tires and more are due — and reminds you before it's too late.

■ Insurance and inspections, remembered
Add documents with an expiry date to each vehicle and the app reminds you 30 days and 7 days before. Anything expiring soon shows up on the vehicle screen; anything expired is marked as expired.

■ Vehicle health score at a glance
A single score sums up your car's condition so you always know what needs attention.

■ Built for multiple cars
Register several vehicles and swipe between them. Home, Records and Stats all follow your selected car.

■ Understand your spending
See average fuel economy, distance and fuel/service costs by period in clean charts. Export to CSV to open in a spreadsheet.

■ Your data stays yours
Vehicle, fuel, service and document records are stored on your device and never sent to the developer's servers. Documents hold only what is needed to remind you — never a scan or photo of the document itself. No account, no sign-in required. Using more than one device? Turn on iCloud sync and your records travel through your own Apple Account. It is off by default, and turning it on is always your choice. (Only anonymous statistics are collected to improve the app.)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-17

See insurance expiry dates right on your home screen.
· The widget shows the document expiring soonest, and marks expired ones as expired.
· When a service date and an expiry date compete, you see whichever is more urgent. Medium widgets show both.
· If you haven't added any documents, your widget looks exactly as before.
· Lock screen widgets show only the document type and time remaining — never the document's name.

Vehicle documents now export too.
· Settings › Export data has a new "Export vehicle documents" row. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-03

You forget your insurance renewal until the text message arrives. Now the app remembers first.
· Add documents with an expiry date — insurance, inspections — to each vehicle. (Settings › Vehicles)
· We remind you 30 days and 7 days before. You can turn the reminder off per document.
· Documents expiring soon show up on the vehicle screen, and expired ones are marked as expired.
· Add an inspection document and the overlapping service reminder for inspections steps aside.

Short hints for people opening the app for the first time.
· Where to start a record, and why the full-tank checkbox matters.
· Each one shows once. Close it and it stays closed.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-27

After a fill-up, what you actually know is what you paid and the price per liter. Now that is all you need — the volume works itself out.
· Enter the total you paid. The big field at the top is now the amount, not the volume.
· Fill in any two of volume, unit price and total, and the third one fills itself in.
· Entering the volume directly still works exactly as before.
· Fixed amounts shifting slightly when you opened a record and saved it without changing anything.

iCloud sync arrives. (Settings › Sync)
· Turn it on to see the same records on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
· It is off by default. Until you turn it on, your records stay on this device.
· Vehicle photos are included, so they use your iCloud storage.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-18

Touch and hold a widget to choose which vehicle it shows. With more than one car, place several widgets and give each its own.

Model names now use the name your market actually uses — Elantra, Picanto, Sorento — instead of the Korean domestic name.
· Model suggestions match your region, so you no longer scroll past cars that were never sold near you.
· Added more European and North American brands.

Quality work in this release:
· Fixed a crash when opening a record right after saving it.
· Fixed the Records tab showing only the first 20 entries.
· Removed the pause when opening the Statistics tab — it stays smooth with lots of records.
· Fixed clipped and overlapping text throughout the app at larger text sizes.
· VoiceOver now names the numbers it reads on widgets instead of reading them bare.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-14

Home Screen widgets are here. See your health score and next service without opening the app — on both the Home Screen and the Lock Screen.

Cargineer now works properly outside Korea.
· Amounts are stored with the currency you recorded them in. Change your region and a record entered in won still reads in won.
· Distance (km/miles) and fuel volume (liters/gallons) settings now actually change what you see. Fuel economy can be shown as km/L, mpg, or L/100km.
· First launch picks the units that match your region.

Changing units never alters records you already saved.
