### 4/5 — Good accessible programming game

*2020-01-28, version 1.2*

Recommend this for programmers and non-programmers alike.

Though if you approach it with object-oriented programming, be prepared to get one star on a lot of levels!

### 4/5 — Nice but:

*2019-07-03, version 1.2*

Nice, but I find it hard and there isn't enough space for the arrows and I................ :/

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2018-06-15, version 1.1*

I love this puzzle game but can you add a prog 5?

### 4/5 — No way to beat hard level “come together 2”

*2018-04-05, version 1.1*

Come together 2 hard mode crashes when I complete it in 8 step... wants you to stack 7 blocks but stashes when you do!!

### 4/5 — Cool

*2018-02-04, version 1.1*

Cool game & makes me think

### 4/5 — Nice game

*2016-07-31, version 1.0.1*

Great game! I would love to see a create your own level thing added in.

### 3/5 — Repeating

*2016-06-29, version 1.0.1*

I must agree and repeat the same words as others over & over (as in the game)! I have 3 older kids that love puzzle games, but this one is too hard for them. With a Computer a Science masters degree, I can still spend hours on many puzzles.

Saving multiple solutions, version control of unsolved puzzles, & saving off a set of instructions for reuse (building libraries of moves that are easy to reference in other puzzles) are 2 big needs! Settings to disable the sounds/music while letting background music play is also a must while playing for hours. Those changes would make this much more enjoyable! Then a button to simply change the "best solution" criteria would make this several games in one. Shortest moves would be nice, but I've found that shortest moves is nearly equivalent to shortest time to solve and may be easier! Also, updating the game or downloading "content" updates when new solutions are found would be nice. I'd also love to see an option in Settings to include a link to the video with the best solution displayed!

### 4/5 — Unknown Solutions

*2016-03-27, version 1.0.1*

Dvarrette1532 on YouTube has uploaded lots of unknown solutions but you haven't taken any notice

### 3/5 — Mr ny

*2015-07-18, version 1.0.1*

This game is good as a puzzle game. But branding it as " helps you learn programming" is very misleading. If a programmer naturally gets 3 stars for this game, he/she would be a horrible coder in real life. The objective in this game is sort of writing the shortest program. But for that purpose, it ignores time complexity as well as discourages modulization of functions (you'd better do everything in line one to save cubes used). It is just bad as a programming training.

### 5/5 — wow

*2014-12-14, version 1.0.1*

I love this app and i am a app-picky person. When i played this i could not stop.
Awesome app :)

### 5/5 — GREAT GAME

*2014-11-03, version 1.0.1*

I loved this game. It was an awesome challenge. I have finished the game and I wish that there were just a few more levels, but that is not the main issue. I wish that the tutoriol helped teache more, and also the hints helped. But over all this game was great.

### 5/5 — Great

*2014-09-17, version 1.0.1*

Difficult, but fun!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I AM SO MAD AT THE DEVELOPER AND THE GAME!!!!

*2022-08-22, version 1.3*

I AM RATING THE ONE STAR FOR SO MUCH BUGS!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Cargo Bot

*2021-01-15, version 1.2*

Once you get cargo bot you won’t be able to delete it, so don’t waste your time trying to get it and I give it 1 star for a very good reason if you bought it and you can’t delete it then don’t do it again.

### 1/5 — The game is bad

*2020-09-03, version 1.2*

It doesn’t work, you need to fix it. The game doesn’t make sense and it is impossible to do and maybe next time when you make a game make it fun

### 1/5 — The update deleted my save!

*2017-04-14, version 1.1*

All my stars, gone...

### 1/5 — App Support

*2017-04-01, version 1.0.1*

Update the app so it works on future version of iOS

### 1/5 — WORST GAME IVE EVER PLAYED

*2014-12-16, version 1.0.1*

Absolutely terrible hints aren't helpful at all I couldn't even get past thy "easy" section it would be nice if there was an item that looped the row it's on and you can change how many times it loops before going to the next row. I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO GET THIS GAME!!!

### 1/5 — This game is worst than the worst thing

*2014-12-02, version 1.0.1*

This game. Not even sure I can call it a game. Is like the worst thing that can happen to you. I don't even know I I downloaded it in the first place, but I regret it now. This game will bust your head and you will not like it because it's horrible. Ive got one piece of advice for you, don't download it.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2014-12-01, version 1.0.1*

Don't know why it even exist it is mentally bullying

### 1/5 — Not the best

*2014-01-03, version 1.0.1*

Good game but not the best I Can only give it one ⭐️. But you might like, love,or hate

### 1/5 — Wrong way to measure performance

*2013-01-20, version 1.0.1*

First off brilliant idea! App is well designed with good quality.

But there is a fatal problem: the app is giving scores based on number of register used, not the total number of steps that are needed to finish the task.

This comes down to what we are teaching our children. Is better to write a simple instruction that takes 100 steps to finish, or is it better to write a more complicated instruction that will finish the job in 10 steps?

Or, in computer science, do you want to write a three line code that takes one day to finish, or do you want code with 100 lines but will finish the job in 1 minute.

You want to evaluate algorithm based on O(n), not lines of code. I will not let my children touch this app, so that they will not learn the wrong mind set.

Change the score system to steps based rather than register based, I will rate 5 star.

### 5/5 — Epic

Games

### 5/5 — Yee

*2022-03-19, version 1.2*

I like.

### 5/5 — Puzzle for programmers

*2021-02-25, version 1.2*

This game teaches programming concepts, but also rely on bad programming practices, like programs that's inefficient, hard to understand, and don't terminate properly. It's a game so that's ok.

I'm skeptical this is suitable for 9 to 11 year olds. Unless they are programming god, they would probably find this a difficult game. I've been playing for months and still haven't achieved all 3 blinking stars.

I hope the developer continues to improve this game or make a sequel. l will gladly pay for it.

### 5/5 — Tricky logical game

*2020-11-21, version 1.2*

The idea behind Cargo-Bot is simple but the execution demands preplanning logic. Excellent game. Hopefully I will finish all levels.

### 5/5 — Excellent game!

*2020-09-08, version 1.2*

I really enjoyed playing this game in Codea, and I was so surprised by the low rating in App Store. Apparently someone could find this game very “mentally bullying” and gave the angry one star. So I decided to download the game just to give 5 star to support the developer!

### 5/5 — Genius!

*2019-01-09, version 1.1*

The kind of game I have been waiting for. Programmers will love it.

### 5/5 — I know it’s not the right game

*2017-11-30, version 1.1*

Can you please bring back crabitron it was so fun!! I just want to buy it and play it again!

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-04-14, version 1.1*

I had forgotten about this until this update appeared on my iPad. It did delete my progress, but starting again I remember just how great this is. If you want to learn coding, or just enjoy it, this is one of the best apps out there. Getting the perfect three star solution needs thought and logic. If you find it hard, stick at it - you have to think hard and be inventive.

### 5/5 — Great fun

*2015-06-14, version 1.0.1*

Great fun, excellent game. But need more explications... Per exemple, why a left arrow on the last sqarre of prog2 bring the claw automaticly to the leftmost colum no matter where your claw is???

### 5/5 — It's awesome

*2015-02-12, version 1.0.1*

I love the app and my son loves playing it too.
