### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-07-14, version 1.9.21*

This app has been my go to for a number of years now, brilliant for keeping track of my symptoms however in the last few days I can’t log in. I keep getting an error message, deleted and tried again but no joy. Any ideas?

### 2/5 — Poor symptom tracking

*2025-10-10, version 1.9.16*

The app only allows for tracking of symptoms by day. Hot flashes occur throughout the day and not being able to track time and potential triggers makes the app worthless to me.

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2025-01-17, version 1.9.14*

So far so good, but I wish “emotional” was a symptom I could log and track. I’m just using “mood swings”instead, but that’s not entirely accurate.

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2024-11-13*

I want to subscribe to premium, but the subscribe button seems disabled

### 3/5 — Daily calendar for logging would be helpful

*2024-03-20, version 1.9.14*

I love this app! It’s very intuitive and useful and helps calm my anxiety about symptoms. One thing that would be very helpful is a calendar (similar to those on apps that track menstrual periods). I’d like to be able to track my symptoms throughout the day just to see how often I’m having hot flashes, mood swings etc.

### 2/5 — It was a good app!

*2024-02-26, version 1.9.14*

I was recommended by my GP in the U.K.
After I started going into the perimenopause at 45. And this app worked a treat. Made me understand my symptoms changing in my body etc.
But lately the app has been crashing a LOT.
So I got in contact with support. And they have been helping but it still crashes. And yes I have updated my iPhone, still crashes.
So unfortunately I am now searching for another app for menopause sadly.
Nice when it lasted.

### 2/5 — Needs much improvement to be useful

*2024-01-09, version 1.9.14*

This app is okay for learning info about symptoms, but so is google. The "analytics" don't show big picture or longer term cyclical information, just a couple days at a time, which isn't helpful. It also frequently doesn't save logged information. So going back to try to look up dates of occurrences, symptoms, etc., is impossible. Those two features were the primary things I was looking for in this app.

### 2/5 — Ability to track hot flashes missing

*2023-07-17, version 1.9.12*

I was hoping for a quick and easy button to simply log every time I have a hot flash. All I see are tracking a plethora of symptoms and severity, but not the day and time, and frequency, of each flash.

### 3/5 — Needs updates

*2023-02-02, version 1.9.12*

Love this app for tracking but i can’t get notifications to work and this app hasn’t been updated in a year. Does anyone still update this app or do i need to find a different app? For now, I’m putting a reminder to track in my phone.

### 3/5 — Problem of creating my account

*2022-03-25, version 1.9.12*

I downloaded this app but I can’t use it because I can’t create my account due an internal error!

### 3/5 — Not all the features work

*2022-01-30, version 1.9.12*

There are several parts of this (eg. “Want to see something new?” which lead to dead pages. I can’t see when posts are made (no dates), and when I went to check an event link posted in a comment, discovered the event was a year ago. How do I make a new post? I don’t see anywhere to do that. I’ve noticed that two days after I got my last COVID booster shot, my hot flashes have started back up when they were under control before. How do I post to see if others are experiencing this?

### 4/5 — Not only english, please!

*2021-06-11*

The possibility to read and use in other languages: spanish, ítalian, french, please

### 2/5 — No period tracking

*2021-04-02, version 1.9.6*

This app has really great intentions but it is information overload. I thought it was a Health tracking appBut it seems to want to be both BuzzFeed and a social platform. All I want to do is track my periods and symptoms without the usual focus on fertility. The period tracking part is almost impossible to find- why isn’t it with symptoms & activity?

### 3/5 — Adding symptoms

*2021-03-30, version 1.9.6*

Likening the app so far. Would be nice to add other symptoms. Ex: cold feet, crazy legs (tingly)

### 3/5 — Room for improvement

*2021-03-02, version 1.9.6*

I’m finding many aspects of the app are very well done. There’s tons of info, educational content, and overall community support. But as a newer user, after logging symptoms for the past several weeks, I’m realizing (unless I’m missing something) there is no calendar view that allows me to visualize the any patterns to my symptoms. I needed to find out if certain symptoms I was experiencing might be cyclical and ended up just having to flip back through my daily logs and then compare the dates the symptoms occurred to my own calendar to see if they were grouping four weeks apart. It really wasn’t user friendly for that purpose. I guess I’m just used to my old period tracker app that would show a calendar view, let me see the patterns, and even help me predict when my regular cyclical symptoms were most likely to strike next. If this app had a good calendar overview, or even a graph or chart to show how frequently each symptom was appearing, I’d likely give it five stars.

### 3/5 — How I like it

*2021-01-29, version 1.9.5*

It's not visual colorful enough. Seems to be limited. I havent had it long so willing to try it longer and maybe I'll find it more useful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stopped working, can’t get my personal information

*2026-07-22, version 1.9.21*

I’ve used this app successfully for years, but within the past month or so, it’s completely broken. There is an error “Hmm. That didn’t work… 503” on every module.
At this point I’d just like to export my personal information (which now I can not even view) and delete my account, but there is no way to do so.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2026-06-25, version 1.9.21*

The supporting articles are so basic they are totally unhelpful. None of the resources amount to real knowledge. I’m cancelling and deleting this app.

### 1/5 — Uninstalled and happy with alternative

*2026-02-12, version 1.9.18*

It always gave me an error:500. Meaning I couldn’t save anything. I spent 20 minutes genuinely trying to figure it out.

### 1/5 — App was great for a week!

*2025-06-19, version 1.9.15*

Then I got signed out and couldn’t regain access. I was bummed that I lost my tracking, but went ahead and created a new profile and started again. Lo and behold, I can’t get in again! This nonsense is not something a perimenopausal woman will put up with. Off to find a new app! 🙄

### 1/5 — Needs a calendar view

*2022-09-28, version 1.9.12*

I liked this app for how much daily info/symptoms you could enter, but have become frustrated with its lack of a bigger picture: There’s no calendar view to get a sense of patterns over time: you can only view one week’s worth of symptoms at a time. For putting in SO much daily info, looking back over only one week is just useless.

### 1/5 — Caria uses Google Analytics to track you

*2022-04-08, version 1.9.12*

Warning Caria uses Google Analytics.

### 1/5 — Gives your email address to spam companies

*2021-05-29, version 1.9.7*

This app gives your email address to companies that gather emails to bombard you with spam emails. I know they all do that, but this ont is the worst. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!

### 1/5 — Disappointed!

*2021-03-24, version 1.9.6*

This is a useless app if you are deaf, as I am. The lessons are auditory-based, without any captions.

### 1/5 — Cant sign up

*2020-12-14, version 1.9.5*

I can’t even sign up within the app. The keyboard comes up blank when I try to enter a password. Awesome.

### 1/5 — Can’t log anything

*2020-11-16, version 1.9.3*

I was really looking forward to using this app but I can’t log any symptoms at all. Can I only log symptoms with the paid version?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Hays 😊

### 5/5 — Fantastic friend

*2021-10-25, version 1.9.8*

This has been a wonderful source of information, and an amazing site for any woman going through this time of her life.
It takes you through every mine field the menopause can throw at us, and let’s us know, we are not alone.

### 5/5 — Life saver

*2021-08-14, version 1.9.7*

So much useful information. Download it.

### 5/5 — I wish I’d found this app sooner!

*2021-04-06, version 1.9.6*

Although I’ve only had this app for a week, the amount of information I’ve learned, from women sharing, has been invaluable. It’s so reassuring to hear your not alone in your struggle and to hear real life remedies, their pros and cons and what worked for others. I only wish I’d come across it a few years earlier. A+ to the creator of the app.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2020-11-18, version 1.9.3*

I’ve never come across such a tremendous app, the variety of content, options to engage with discussion boards and ability to track my menopause journey are fabulous. Thanks so much for developing and sharing x

### 5/5 — Really helpful

*2020-11-11, version 1.9.2*

I look forward to using the App every day. The daily mindfulness sessions really help with my well-being. I have recommended the App to other ladies.

### 5/5 — Life saviour

*2020-10-07, version 1.8.1*

This app changed my life. Turning the corner of 50, I found myself frequently waking up with a strange new unpleasantness in either pain or discomfort that ended up making me think something was seriously wrong. The joints in my hands hurt, my legs were so restless at night I couldn’t sleep and I often had severe backache. Joining the community here; I’ve learnt all of these things are typically related to the menopause. This app provides a fabulous share of stories, symptoms and tips on how to deal with menopause. It’s been a life saviour for me (and probably also my husband ;-))

### 5/5 — The very best app in the world

*2020-10-06*

Every woman between 40 to 90 trarsi old should use this app !

**Developer response:** Wow thank you for such a positive review! We're so glad you have found Caria helpful 😊

### 5/5 — Great find

*2020-10-02, version 1.8.1*

I’ve been looking for an app for a while where I could log symptoms and share experiences and finally found something that ticks all the boxes and gives useful tips as well as mindful exercises.
