## What is Carico Log?

Carico Log is a lifting log that keeps up with you. Log your set, rest, go again. Next time, your last session's numbers are already there, with a suggestion when it is time to add weight.

IN THE GYM
• A notebook-style table: every set of the session at a glance, with last time's numbers alongside.
• A rest timer that starts on its own, set for the movement or by your program.
• Set types: warm-up, drop set, to failure, AMRAP.
• Weight and reps, bodyweight, added weight, assisted, or timed holds: each exercise is logged the way it is done.
• Cardio too: treadmill, bike, rower, elliptical, outdoor runs and rides, logged in time and distance.
• More than 150 illustrated exercises, from dumbbells to selectorized and cable machines, with the equipment shown on each icon. Browse as a list or an icon grid.
• The plates to load on each side of the bar, from the plates your gym actually has.
• A note on each exercise for seat height, grip or cues.
• Your Apple Music playlist starts with the workout.
• Everything logs with no signal, even in a basement gym; iCloud sync catches up when you are back online.

PROGRAMS
• Programs over several weeks, with targets as a percentage of your estimated 1RM.
• Plan a program with the AI of your choice: Carico Log gives you the prompt, then reads the answer before adding it.
• Supersets that alternate, with rest only at the end of the round.
• Turn a session you just finished into a program.
• Plan sessions on the calendar, weekly or every other week, with a reminder on time, before, or the evening before.
• Share a program as a file or a link. The other person gets the plan, never your logged sets.

PROGRESS
• Personal records, estimated 1RM and a chart for every exercise.
• Hard sets per muscle group, week by week.
• Double progression: hit your target reps on every set and Carico Log suggests the next weight.
• Body weight, synced with the Health app if you wish.

YOUR HISTORY
• Edit past sessions: fix a number, add a forgotten set.
• Import your history from a CSV file, and export everything to CSV whenever you like.
• Start or finish a session, or repeat your last set, with Siri or the Shortcuts app.
• Widgets, and your session on the Lock Screen.

CARICO LOG PRO
Free: free sessions on iPhone, 40 basic exercises, your last 30 days, CSV export, Health and iCloud sync. Carico Log Pro opens everything else: programs, all 168 exercises and your own, your whole history, import, progress, the calendar, the Apple Watch app — it works on its own, leave your iPhone in the locker —, music, Siri and widgets. Yearly subscription, one month free, shared with your family.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.10 — 2026-10-30

• Routines and programs: a routine is a list of exercises, a program spreads them over the days. Your next routine waits at the top of Start.
• Supersets and circuits mid-workout: move an exercise to group it, labeled A1, A2.
• Cable: record the pulley setting from 1 to 18 with a slider, kept for every set.
• Exercises now move, with redrawn figures: plates, benches, machines and handles.
• Settings has its own tab, Muscles and Equipment filters are separate, and volume per muscle reads over 7 or 30 days.
• Smoothed progress charts, and a timer in the set table for timed exercises.
• Apple Watch: a rest started on iPhone shows on your wrist, and the other way around.

### 2.9 — 2026-10-27

• Carico Log now speaks Chinese, Korean, Arabic and Russian: thirteen languages.
• Search for an exercise by muscle or equipment: "abs", "cable"…
• A program can also target a time or a distance (plank 45 s, bike 10 min, 5 km), and a free session accepts a circuit.
• A received program can replace its previous version, and the share link opens in every messaging app.
• For each exercise, choose what gets recorded (weight and reps, time held, duration…) from a clearly visible row.
• Apple Watch: no more crash while tracking heart rate, and an "In progress" page.
• Your sessions reach Fitness with the right activity for each exercise.

### 2.8 — 2026-10-14

• Carico Log Pro is now a subscription: CA$4.99 per year, with a one-month free trial. Without it, you log free sessions with 40 basic exercises and see your last 30 days; export stays free. If you bought Pro before, you keep the Apple Watch app.
• The Exercises tab shows the whole library, or your favorites: tap the star without leaving the list, tap the exercise to open it.
• In a program, tap an exercise to see its history and log a set.
• Redrawn figures: depth, hands and feet, real plates and benches, and the right equipment for each exercise.

### 2.7 — 2026-10-09

• Plan a program with the AI of your choice: copy the prompt, paste the answer, and check everything before adding it. AIs that accept MCP connectors even give you a link that opens it directly.
• Set by set: 5/3/1, a top set then back-off sets, a pyramid. Each set proposes its own load and reps.
• Add a circuit in one go: pick your exercises in order, the number of rounds and the rest. They run back to back, and the rest comes at the end of the round.
• 168 exercises in the catalog, including paused squat and bench press, deficit deadlift, bands, calisthenics and cardio with distance.
• Each exercise shows its equipment on its icon, and you can browse your exercises as an icon grid.
• Your music starts with the session.
• On Apple Watch, the session is laid out in pages.
• Ask Siri about your training.
