### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2015-05-07*

This app was so helpful and decreased the stress during a code. A must have for everyone!

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2015-04-08*

This app is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The layout of the screens are very easy to read and the time stamps for med pushes and procedures is very helpful. The coverage of the H's and T's is very cool. I highly recommend this app to all healthcare providers.

### 5/5 — Nurse Educator

Amazing program! Very intuitive and easy to use. Will increase documentation accuracy during code events and ensure MD's are following ACLS protocols. Also increases chances of
ROSC:)

### 5/5 — Good Carma

*2015-03-08*

I can't count the number of times I've complained about having to keep handwritten notes while trying to help someone in cardiac arrest. This application simplifies things A LOT. It's laid out in logical order and makes it very simple to keep track of times, medications, etc. simply by tapping the buttons on screen. The PDF email functionality is also fantastic. Take care of the patient first and print out the code history/timeline when you're done. Smart use of the smart phone!

### 5/5 — Practical, Easy to use CPR app

*2015-03-07*

Allows you to figure out why the patient is in cardiac arrest without worrying about timing of key meds and CPR. The tips on the h and t page made finding the problem quicker. Very sleek and intuitive, easy to use layout. Allows caregivers to worry about other things while the app keeps track of important times.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great concept but with major issue

*2024-03-20*

I love the concept and features. However, the app closes when I press any of the check marks under H’s & T’s. The clock does not keep going when it abruptly closes. The app also shut down when I pressed the end of the code. Not very reliable for recording purposes if it is going to keep unexpectedly closing and resetting.

**Developer response:** Which device and iOS version are you using?

### 2/5 — Not updated

*2015-12-07*

I bought this app because it was the only one that was easy to use and still effective during high tension codes. But ever since I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 9 the countdown timers get cut off. It looks like other users are having the same problem. I hope the developers are reading the reviews and are working on a fix. Would be terrible for a good app to go to waste. Until it gets fixed, two stars seems fair.

### 2/5 — Can't see timer

*2015-10-23*

Needs to be updated for latest version of iOS

### 3/5 — Solid start

*2021-06-12*

Need a wider time range for amiodarone. ACLS guidelines say you can give it every 4 minutes, yet the lowest you can set the amiodarone timer is 5 minutes. Also, need to be able to record the rhythms form the VT/VF and PEA tabs. Switching pages in a code is more tedious than it seems.

### 4/5 — Simple and works..but something is missing..

*2021-10-25*

Im an ER nurse . Wish this app had a few things .. like a drop down button/ red flag/ count down under cpr for “rhythm check”

### 4/5 — Good app but needs improvement

*2018-01-06*

This is the first time I am writing a review for an app. I am a Medicine Resident and till now had trouble with managing CPR, rhythm check and Epi time. But I used this app during my last code, I felt very organized and it was easy to manage CPR and rhythm check times. My problem with the app is, the email option doesn’t work. Also, when I choose new session in VT/VE, it doesn’t reset the shock count to zero.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2023-06-28*

This is a Godsend. When you’re running codes it helps everyone immeasurably to have an aid like this.

Make sure to take advantage of the app recording all the interventions you do. It makes documentation MUCH easier.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-09-14*

Just started my career as a resident. It really helps with following the ACLS algorithm. Must have app for all residents!!!!

### 5/5 — Must have

*2017-05-25*

Makes the whole acls algorithm easy to remember when you are in a code situation which makes remembering anything tough. Great for students and medical professionals. Cheaper than similar products i have seen on the app store (although i haven't used any of the others so i can't rate them). This has timers, meds to give, and actions to take. Really useful.

### 5/5 — Two Thumbs Up

*2017-05-11*

Full of functionalities but also very simple to use during codes to ensure proper timing of interventions and subsequent documentation. Highly recommended for anyone that may find themselves in the position of leading a code.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2016-08-02*

As a critical care and rapid response nurse, I use this app frequently. It helps to provide timing for medications, compressions and therapies. During a stressful situation, it helps to keep everyone on track and improve patient outcomes.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2016-07-20*

This app is perfect for running a code. It allowed me to concentrate on finding the cause of the arrest and not worry about when to give important medications . It also ensured that the patient got his full two minutes of cpr each cycle. The metronome ensured right rate and the metronome is now recommended with Get With the Guidelines. One thing we do not do in a code is get a finger stick blood sugar but it was a tip in the h and t section. Wouldn't you know the patients sugar was 22?! Thanks CARMA!
I think this app would be perfect for the pre hospital provider as well.

### 5/5 — Great app! Numbers are truly astonishing

*2016-04-05*

Who knew that someone could take such a complex process and make it simple and easy for people especially in the heat of the moment. The numbers show that survival of the event have increased dramatically and that blows my mind!

### 5/5 — Great app

Great for codes

### 5/5 — Great App for The Novice or Expert ACLS Provider

*2016-02-10*

Awesome App for ACLS. Follows AHA guidelines with easy to remember mnemonics. Has a timers for epi, compressions, and code length. Also has adjustable metronome for timing compressions. Offers H&Ts reminders as well as suggested interventions. I use it as a tool for teaching all my ACLS students!

### 5/5 — Great App!

The IOS 9 visibility issues have been fixed. This app continues to help us save lives. Great job.
