This was a critical bug where the close button of certain ads appeared behind the top status bar and was thus un-clickable. This has been completely fixed in version 2.6.0+. It won’t allow me to enter number of servings, as in the I out field doesn’t even exist. when doing the macro calculations it resets to strict carnivore diet no matter what I do. Also the food entry is very basic. In another app Oatsy that I use, it offers a very extensive food database, is Ai enhanced for the stuff that doesn’t populate, and barr code scannable. However that is used for keto amd fasting diets, and offers no carnivore diet options, works great for Kcal counting and food tracking. So this is why I was excited to try this app, however it fell on its face. It appears to be unfinished. ### 1/5 — Unable too add quantity *2024-03-06* Unfortunately, this app is broken. The “support” button front work. I’ve tried to obtain a refund three times but the app refuses to acknowledge the request within 24 - 48 hours of purchase. **Developer response:** Hi there, we did respond to your email and provided a direct link to request a refund through Apple. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple, not by app developers — we're unable to process them on our end. On day 22, I opened the app and saw the splash screen as if never used? When attempting to login as an existing user, my email was not found? 21 days of detailed logging gone and no way to retrieve my data. Contacted the developer a week ago, zero response. Requested a refund through Apple. Very disappointing. Update: so, I emailed the developer per their response to me (6 months later) and interested in the offer to retry the app with a free lifetime Premium and haven’t heard anything. Everytime I brought the app up to log something I had to keep re-entering my weight, height, etc. This morning I went to check after logging all day yesterday..I go back to add something I had eaten and forgot. There is nothing tracked it looks as if I didn't even log it. So basically all my information isn't storing.. It doesn’t. The meal plans was the only reason I downloaded it and paid $30. Total rip off. It will track what you eat if you enter it. But a meal plan of what to make would do the same thing. There is a graph to show your weight loss, go to the progress page and change the chart option to body measurements. ### 3/5 — I really wanted to like this app *2025-08-01* I have used the app for 11 days with continued glitches. I did updated the app to the most recent version with no changes. I did reach out to the developer 2x with my issues as well. 1) If I go back and edit something for yesterday, it wipes out the data for yesterday’s date and adds it to today’s date. Ie: I forgot to add my last water intake, I go update it today (on yesterday’s date) and it moves ALL of the data from yesterday to today’s date. And I am unable to fix it. 2) Saved data continues to not populate for the current date without adding the data again, and now I have double entries. 3) The camera in “scan” feature does not pick up UPC codes. As if the item looks too blurry to scan. It is not my camera, as it scans fine with other apps. Not a big deal but the X is at the very top right side, so high it’s above the battery and service icons and it does not allow me to click it. It won’t let me correct a spelling mistake once it’s been saved; and the weight is only in lbs, when most of the world uses kgs. Could the developers please do something about this? It’s missing product after product. You’ve got carb loaded products, but you don’t have protein based products. Or fat based products. You do know that carnivore focuses on meat and fat, right? The scanner doesn’t recognize fully half the products I’ve tried, example Augusson’s butter powder. For this price, I expect the whole world of carnivore, not carb loaded stuff. **Developer response:** Hi scifimom42 thank you for the feedback we will work on improving the database to include more processed branded items. We certainly have tons of unprocessed carnivore items like butter, ghee or beef tallow in the database.
