## What is CarnivOS?

Carnivore food logging with targets, evidence labels, and clear limits on what estimates can show.

CarnivOS is built for carnivore, zero-carb, and animal-based eating—not a generic calorie counter with meat added later.

— BUTCHER SELECT —
Compare logged foods with estimated nutrient targets and find animal-food options. These estimates do not diagnose a deficiency or prescribe treatment.

— LONGER-TERM VIEW —
Review longer-term intake estimates with visible uncertainty. They are not measurements of nutrient stores in your body.

— FOOD AND BODY-SIGNAL DIARY —
Log sleep, energy, digestion, mood, joints, focus, and meals in one timeline. Same-day or nearby entries are observations, not proof that one caused the other.

— PROFILE-BASED TARGETS —
Review nutrient reference targets calculated from the profile information you provide. They are educational estimates, not medical prescriptions.

— ELECTROLYTE LOG —
Record sodium, potassium, and magnesium alongside symptoms. A food log cannot measure electrolyte status, diagnose a cause, or prescribe an intake.

— BILLING —
Cancel through your App Store account settings. Purchases and refund requests are handled under the store's applicable policies.

CarnivOS is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Seek qualified medical care for health concerns.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-05

New
- Stats: a new export button shares or copies the diet deviations and notable symptoms from your 30 most recent logged days as a plain table.
- Fasting: the timer now shows a progress ring toward your fasting goal.
- Sign-in: a "Learn more" link, and email sign-up skips the waiting screen when your account is ready right away.

Improvements
- Plan screen: yearly price and savings are shown in your local App Store currency.
- Refund information now matches how you purchased. App Store refunds are decided by Apple.
- Fixed an issue where some support requests were not saved.
- Readability and other small fixes.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-02

Added a 14-day free trial for the monthly plan.

No other user-facing changes in this release.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-20

Fixed inaccurate source citations.

Three in-app science explanations (Home, Stats, Fasting) cited PubMed sources that didn't actually back the claim next to them — including one unrelated Parkinson's cell-culture study and one paper that measured lean mass, not nutrient bioavailability. All citations were re-checked against PubMed and replaced with sources that match what they're cited for.

No claims changed. Only the sources behind them did.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-05

Post-launch fixes:

• Some symptom entries in the diary were not being saved — fixed
• Iron and vitamin K2 could show as zero when re-adding foods from History or Quick Add — fixed
• The vitamin D safety check now also applies to profiles created before the sunlight question existed
• Subscription management and cancellation now open the native iOS sheet
• Fixed a dead end on the paywall for people who are already subscribed
• Layout fixes on smaller screens

### 1.0 — 2026-07-29

No release notes.
