Insurance policies and financing contracts have received the same treatment: you can now attach multiple photos and files (PDF, invoices, etc.) to each record, and they show up in the Documents tab alongside registration certificates and vehicle photos. Fixed a bug where tapping the copy icon next to the VIN number would open the registration certificate photo instead of copying the VIN to clipboard. When viewing an attached photo fullscreen, you can now pinch to zoom in and inspect it in detail. The zoom level is retained when you release your fingers — double-tap to reset. Swiping to the next image resets zoom automatically. Maintenance — Service Checklist A new "To-do" mode has been added to the maintenance form. Use it to note down repairs or checks you know need to be done at the next service visit, without specifying a date or odometer reading yet. These items appear in a dedicated "Needs doing" section at the top of the maintenance list, above scheduled entries. From there you can mark them as done with a swipe or open them to add a schedule later. Statistics Fixed the "Total/100km" card in the maintenance statistics section — it was incorrectly showing only maintenance costs. It now correctly calculates the combined fuel and service cost per 100 km. PDF Export The report header has been redesigned. The app icon now renders correctly with rounded corners instead of showing a blurry placeholder square. The app name has been updated to Carnote throughout the report — both in the header and footer. An App Store link now appears next to the icon in the header, and the export date has been repositioned to avoid overlap with the branding area. Home Screen Widget Fixed a version mismatch that could cause the widget to fail on device — the widget extension now automatically tracks the app version instead of using a hardcoded number. The empty-state message has been updated to be clearer. Add it to your home screen to see at a glance your vehicle's average fuel consumption, this month's fuel cost, current odometer reading, and upcoming maintenance status — all without opening the app. The widget supports both small and medium sizes. If you have multiple vehicles, you can configure a separate widget for each one by long-pressing and editing the widget. Maintenance Statistics Overhaul The Statistics screen now includes a dedicated Maintenance section with a full breakdown of your service costs: • Total maintenance cost and average cost per job • Service cost per 100 km — how much maintenance adds to every 100 km driven • Combined total per 100 km — fuel costs plus service costs combined, giving a true picture of what each 100 km actually costs you • Monthly bar chart of completed maintenance costs over the past 12 months • Full list of completed jobs with dates, odometer readings, and costs The combined total/100 km calculation has also been corrected to properly include both fuel and service expenses. File & Photo Attachments Maintenance You can now attach multiple photos and files (PDF, etc.) to any maintenance record. Photos are shown in a scrollable thumbnail grid and can be viewed fullscreen. Attached PDF files open with a full QuickLook preview. When editing a record, images added via the file picker are displayed inline rather than just showing a filename. Insurance Insurance policies now support the same attachment system — add multiple photos (e.g. photos of your policy document or green card) and attach a PDF receipt or scan. All attachments are stored per policy and viewable directly from the form. Financing Financing contracts now also support photo and file attachments. Attach photos of your loan agreement, add a PDF of the contract, and view them any time you open the contract record. Documents Tab The Documents section of each vehicle's detail view has been expanded. In addition to the vehicle's registration certificate and vehicle photos, it now displays all attachments from: • Maintenance records — photos and files grouped by job • Insurance policies — photos and PDF documents per policy • Financing contracts — photos and PDF documents per contract Images open fullscreen with a tap. PDF and other files open in QuickLook. The Documents tab automatically shows a section only when attachments are present, keeping the view clean when there is nothing to display. Bug Fixes Maintenance statistics: the combined cost/100 km card previously showed only maintenance costs or displayed in cases where it should have shown a value. This is now computed correctly as (total fuel cost + total maintenance cost) ÷ total distance 100. Attached files in maintenance records were shown as a non-interactive label with no way to open them.
