## What is Carpe?

Carpe is one goal a day. Say what you will do in the morning. Answer honestly at night.

No projects. No dashboards. No endless lists. Just a promise you make to yourself, and an honest record of whether you kept it.

HOW IT WORKS
- Morning: set one clear goal, like "run 30 minutes before work"
- Day: get on with it
- Night: check in. Did you do it? If not, say what got in the way.

FEATURES
- A fresh goal each day, or a recurring goal that carries forward until you change it
- Honest night check-in, with a reason when you fall short
- Streaks and a running record of achieved and missed days
- Morning and evening reminders, scheduled locally on your device
- Home Screen widget showing today's goal and check-in state
- Siri and Shortcuts support to set or complete your goal hands-free
- Three themes: Paper, Ink and Ember
- Share your commitment as an image

WHY IT WORKS
- One goal beats a long list
- A daily yes or no is harder to ignore than a vague intention
- Naming what got in the way teaches you more than a missed checkbox
- Small wins, repeated, compound

Use Carpe for anything you want to improve: fitness, focus, work, study, creativity, habits, recovery, mindfulness, or one small promise you want to keep today.

PRIVACY
Your goals, reflections, preferences and reminder settings are stored locally on your device. Carpe includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
