## What is Carpet calculator / estimator?

A fantastic help when you are thinking about buying your new carpet. This very simple yet intuitive app lets you calculate the cost of carpeting a room using the currency of your choice.

You enter the dimensions of your room in meters or feet depending on your preference.

Once you have entered the dimensions, you can enter the cost of your carpet and add any underlay if required.

You can even choose a wastage factor to get a more accurate estimate.

Finally, you can add fitting costs and any other cost that may arise and then the app will determines the likely cost for carpeting that room.

Best of all you can save the results allowing you to refer to them later without having to scribble them down on scraps of paper.

You can also copy them to your clipboard so you can text or email them for future reference.

Does not calculate yardage or give actual US $ prices

**Developer response:** I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with this app. The cost calculations are not currency specific so you can choose to enter your cost in dollars, pounds, yen etc just so long as you keep the currency the same throughout. 

I also appreciate that the application does not calculate the results in your specific unit - in this case yards but it does provide both metric (meters) and imperial (feet). We can look to introduce yards as an option and than you for your idea.
