YOU CLEAN FAMOUS PAINTINGS FOR MONEY. Technically, they are rugs. Very expensive rugs. Very dirty, historically significant rugs. Somebody has managed to walk mud across the Mona Lisa, spill something questionable on The Great Wave, and apparently use Starry Night as a doormat. Your job is to fix that. SCRUB FIRST. ASK QUESTIONS NEVER. Drag your finger across the rug and carve clean paths through the grime. Throw down foam and the original colours start coming back. Push the mess around with a squeegee. Chase shiny Colour Essence bubbles into the drain before they disappear. Repeat until a several hundred year old masterpiece looks respectable again. There is no countdown. No lives. No energy meter. No angry red timer telling you that relaxation has expired. You clean until you decide you are done. YOUR FIRST BOSS KEEPS YOU POOR. His name is Jeff. He micromanages everyone. You realize employment was a mistake, quit immediately, and start your own carpet cleaning business. Then things escalate. Family members start bringing you work. Hotels start calling. Strangers with suspicious stains appear. Museums somehow hear about you. Eventually you are operating a carpet cleaning empire built almost entirely on poor decisions and excellent brushing. THE CLEANER IT GETS, THE WEIRDER IT GETS. At first, you are just removing dirt. Then the bubbles start making money. Then stains become collectible. Then someone offers to buy your mud. Then another person wants the stains you removed. Then you build a laboratory. Then you start researching Drain Magnets and Stain Lasers. At some point you may realize this stopped being a carpet cleaning business a long time ago. 254 REAL PAINTINGS. Every artwork in the game is based on a real public domain painting. You will clean Vermeer, Van Gogh, Hokusai, Rembrandt, Mondrian, and many others who probably did not imagine this happening to their work. If you clean well enough, bigger and stranger jobs start appearing. YOUR EQUIPMENT STARTS TERRIBLE. This is intentional. You begin with tools barely capable of disturbing the dirt. Then you upgrade. Better scrubbers. Better foam. Better squeegees. Better brushes. Eventually electric equipment. Eventually robots. Lots of robots. Robo Buddies roam the rug while you are away, cleaning, foaming and pushing valuable bubbles toward the drain. Come back later and they have been working for you. Mostly. They also seem to have developed personalities, which was not part of the business plan. OPEN SHOPS. HAND THEM OVER. DO IT AGAIN. Grow the business far enough and you can open another shop. Then another. Eventually you can hand over your current operation, collect REP and start again with permanent advantages. This unlocks the Lab, where serious carpet cleaning professionals apparently research things like Dirt Goggles, Waxed Floors, Drain Magnets, Noise Dampers and Stain Lasers. This is all completely normal. SOME JOBS ARE WORTH SHOWING OFF. Every finished rug gets a quality score. Bronze. Silver. Gold. And, if you actually cleaned the thing properly, Diamond. Your receipt shows exactly how well you did. Down to the tenth. Because 49.9 stars and 50.0 stars are spiritually different numbers. YES, THERE ARE OPTIONAL PURCHASES. There are a few permanent upgrades for people who would rather accelerate the business than grind every dollar personally. They are optional. Nothing important is trapped behind them. Every painting, rug size, upgrade path and ending can be reached without paying. There are no energy systems. No wait timers asking for money. No ads interrupting a rug halfway through cleaning. The game also works offline. THIS GAME WAS MADE TO FEEL NICE UNDER YOUR THUMB. The dirt coming off. The foam spreading. The colour returning. The squeegee pushing bubbles across a freshly cleaned lane. Robots now call dibs on a essence bubbles over the radio instead of all charging toward the same one like idiots. - Receipts now print your exact score down to the tenth. Because 4.9 stars and 5.0 stars are emotionally very different things. - The DAY strip is readable again. Plain paper won the battle against frosted glass. - Improved the carpet completion animation. Nobody asked for this, but I like it more, so here we are. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next ### 1.7.0 — 2026-09-07 - Every tool now sounds like what it just did. A full scoop, a stray crumb, bristles on clean wool. The squeegee speaks the moment the blade catches a bubble. - The cap on how much colour essence can sit on a carpet at once is gone. Foam as fast as you like. - Eddy has eight more things to say. - Fixed: a birthday job that used to go missing. - New: one small card, on your receipt and in the PREMIUM aisle, showing another independent developer's app. Never a video, never over the rug, and gone for good if you buy anything. ### 1.6.1 — 2026-09-06 WE FIXED THE FEATURE THAT PUNISHED YOU FOR CHANGING YOUR MIND If you opened one of the Executive Time Packs, got as far as Apple's payment sheet and then tapped outside it to back out, the game took it personally and quit on the spot. It doesn't any more. Cancel a purchase, change your mind, cancel it again... the shop stays open and your rug is still exactly where you left it. The same fault could also swallow a purchase that DID go through: charged, but the pack never turned up. If that happened to you, tap RESTORE PURCHASES at the bottom of the shop and it will land. Nothing was lost. Joking aside: thank you, Mr. Gliding Scarf, for the report. ### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-05 CLOSE THE APP MID-RUG AND THE RUG IS STILL THERE Swiping the game away used to hand a half-done carpet back to its owner and drop you on the job board as if nothing happened. Now you come back to the same rug, the same clock, the same bubbles waiting for the drain, and the same mud on your shop floor. It was your mess. It kept it for you. THE MUD GOES SOMEWHERE Scrub and the clods fly off the rim of the brush, arc through the air and land on the floor, in the exact spot the floor gets dirty. The sponge throws the colour it just uncovered. The squeegee only splashes where there is foam to splash. The confetti at the end is cut from the painting you cleaned. And each star on the receipt lands with a little twist and a bell you can actually hear this time. THE SHOP OPENS ON THE OFFICE Nearly everyone bought Brush Power first while the three cards that turn money on sat five tabs away. The OFFICE is the first aisle now, the laptop counts what you can afford, and the pig farmer, the detective and the painter quote your last receipt instead of a percentage. ALSO - Three new awards for money you threw away: the mud, the stains and the colour you never sold. - Every CREW card is a robot now, drawn from the real ones. So are the four robot awards. The crime scene badge is a splat. - Mum turns up on day one. Nobody is asked to wait until tomorrow. - Your customers have ordinary names. Auntie Sprinkles has been let go. - The answer buttons are twice as tall, so your thumb lands on the one you meant. - The job board hangs from the top, the top strip is glass, and a job conversation sits above the carpet it is about. No ads, no timers, plays offline. Everything you owned is still yours. ### 1.5.2 — 2026-09-03 NEW SCREENSHOTS. THAT IS THE WHOLE UPDATE. The old ones were rendered by a machine with a ruler. Every rug was scrubbed in perfect straight lanes that stopped dead halfway down, like a paint roller had been through it — which is not how anybody has ever cleaned a carpet. The new ones were made by something that wanders. Crooked strokes, a patch missed in the middle, a corner somebody clearly gave up on. The Robo-Buddies are finally big enough to see, which felt relevant for a game with robots in it. Replaced the AI slop screenshots with AI dope ones.
