## What is Carried?

You don’t need the perfect words.

Carried helps you begin a Christian prayer with what’s on your heart. Speak or type a reflection, read it back, and receive a prayer you can make your own.

START WHERE YOU ARE
Speak freely or choose to type. Carried transcribes your recording on your iPhone. You can read and edit the words before creating your prayer.

WORDS TO BRING TO GOD
With your permission, Carried uses AI to write a personalized Christian prayer from your current reflection. Read slowly, change your reflection if needed, and spend a moment with Psalm 46:1 from the World English Bible.

A QUIET CLOSE
Finish with Amen, or continue without it. A quiet closing screen leaves a little space before you move on. Light and dark appearances follow your iPhone.

ONE MOMENT AT A TIME
There is no account to create and no journal or saved-prayer library. Carried keeps a temporary current attempt on your device so an interruption does not have to mean starting over.

YOUR WORDS, WITH CARE
Audio is transcribed on your device. Creating a prayer requires an internet connection: after you agree, your reviewed text is sent through Carried’s Cloudflare service and OpenRouter to OpenAI. Recordings and earlier reflections are not sent. Providers may retain the text; Carried does not promise zero retention. You can decline before sending your words.

BEGIN WITH A FREE FIRST PRAYER
Try your first prayer free. A monthly or yearly subscription is required for further prayers, with the same access on either plan. There is no subscription trial. Prices and billing periods are shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; manage or cancel yours in your Apple account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-09

Help right now brings practical support resources and three prewritten prayers, available without a subscription. Prayer-writing limits now show when you can try again and keep your current words.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-01

Carried now counts a few anonymous moments in the app, such as which welcome screens are reached and whether a prayer finishes, so we can make it gentler and more reliable. Your words, recordings and prayers are never included. We also measure our Apple Ads with Apple’s standard attribution, without asking to track you or using your advertising identifier.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-28

Updated App Store screenshots give you a clearer look at Carried: speak or type a reflection, review your words, and receive a Christian prayer shaped by them.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-23

A new look for Carried: our First Light chapel icon now supports dark, clear and tinted appearances on your Home Screen.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-23
