### 4/5 — Perfect, but…

*2026-09-06*

…110mph for a Pidgeon??????? It’s to fast!

### 2/5 — Commit to the bit

*2026-09-05*

Cool idea and would have loved to use this app with my friend but if the whole premise of the app rests on real time carrier pigeons then the map and their speed needs to be accurate. The flight path 'arc' with sometimes change between north and south so you pigeon could be in one location once and then jump hundreds of km to a different location next. Also the speed of the pigeons is too fast. I know this would slow things down but if we're doing digital carrier pigeons then it needs to be realistic.

### 4/5 — Add me

### 3/5 — Price of 3 pigeons ?

*2026-09-02*

One Pigeon is 0.99, 3 pigeons should be 2.97, how and why it is 3.99 ? Where’s math?. Why would I go for set of three where Individual pigeons cost me less ? Am I missing something?

Good App though. I like the concept.

### 3/5 — 10 seconds

*2026-09-02*

It’s really fun to use but after a couple of times all of a sudden whenever I reply to the person the delivery is always 10 seconds..I hope it can be fixed

### 4/5 — Great app with minor issue

*2026-08-31*

Delightful app. I’m removing one star because if you start typing a message and accidentally swipe left, you lose your draft message! I hope the developer can fix this. Otherwise, fun to use.

### 5/5 — Truly Lovely

*2026-08-29*

I downloaded this app because I thought it was silly, but it’s become a great way to have less instant gratification. We live in a time where every message is received as quickly as it’s sent, so having a message that I’m eagerly awaiting is always exciting.

I'm waiting for your contact.

### 5/5 — This app is amazing!!

*2026-08-27*

This app has a fantastic concept and is really fun. If I were to make one small suggestion: since most users are likely looking for fun rather than pure practicality, it might be cool if the pigeons flew a bit slower and had a higher chance of getting lost! Also, adding animations for folding the message or including other fun gimmicks and details would be a great touch. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this app evolves! :)

### 5/5 — This app is very funny

*2026-08-26*

I love this idea! Def get if you have a friend whos farther away. But also I don’t love how if the pidgeon dies (which is really gunny as well) you have to pay to get another, or you can never talk to that person again without spending. Very funny though

### 5/5 — ㅋㅋㅋ

*2026-08-26*

So FUN

### 3/5 — Some bugs

*2026-08-26*

Me and my fiancé love this. We are currently long distance and it was working great then about a week into us sending pigeons to each other. It just started taking 10 seconds to send them instead the time that it usually takes and that’s not a bug we’ve been able to fix.

### 4/5 — Love the idea

*2026-08-25*

Right I actually love the idea of this app it’s so fun! Only 2 things that take down a star from a perfect score: 1. there are no notifications when a pigeon is received, which for my broken brain means forgetting to check the app until the person who sent me the pigeon texts me to check the app. 2. I would LOVE a widget for this app, it could be something like an open window and when you received a message the pigeon appears.
Love the concept and can’t wait for future updates!

### 4/5 — Why isn’t my second pigeon flying?

*2026-08-24*

Hi! I had my first letter delivered from Japan to my partner in the US and got it back safe and sound. However, after I purchased 10 pigeons and sent my 2nd bird. The letter just went through in 10 second and the return flight also came through right away. Is there any way I can fix this?

### 3/5 — Please add android support

*2026-08-24*

Love the concept but can’t message friends who have android

### 4/5 — please fix the letter delivery issue

*2026-08-24*

I really enjoy using this app. It’s a wonderful app!
However, recently, no matter where a letter is sent from, it always arrives within about 10 seconds. I also can’t see the letter traveling on the map anymore, and the other person’s location is no longer visible either.
I’d really appreciate it if you could look into this issue and fix it. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Great, if not buggy

*2026-08-24*

My best friend and I got this and have loved sending our little messages back and forth. A few days ago, however, I sent a pigeon and got the message that it was flying 0 feet and would arrive in 10 seconds. Funny at first, it is taking away from the point of the app i think. our messages would take 7-10 hours before, we’d like that back please.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t

*2026-09-07*

Worst app ever, won’t even allow me to create a profile. Don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-27*

I love the idea of this but pretty disappointed. I was hoping to find random users on the app to share random anonymous messages. What’s worse is that I have to pay for pigeons to send messages. So the more messages you want the more you have to spend on virtual pigeons, and even then it states that the pigeons can get lost which will force you to buy MORE pigeons. I would’ve preferred mini games to earn in game cash and buy it that way. I don’t want to spend money on virtual pigeons that can disappear whenever they want

### 1/5 — wouldn’t bother

*2026-08-23*

You have to pay to send messages btw guys

### 1/5 — 음…

*2026-08-22*

메시지를 하나씩만 보낼 수 있다는게 아쉽고 비둘이가 편지지 날라오는 애니메이션 있는줄 알았는데 없어서 좀 에바스러워용..

### 1/5 — need to pay

*2026-08-19*

need to pay every time you send a message

### 1/5 — Everything is expensive

*2026-08-19*

It costs money to send messages, might as well just send a letter via mail

### 1/5 — Where my notification

*2026-08-18*

Not getting notifications of messages

### 1/5 — You have to pay to have ONE PIGEON

*2026-08-17*

girl no one is doing that for a gimmick

**Developer response:** This is false, every conversation begins with a free pigeon!

### 1/5 — 음..

*2026-08-16*

메시지를 하나씩만 보낼 수 있다는게 아쉽고 비둘이가 편지지 날라오는 애니메이션 있는줄 알았는데 없어서 좀 에바스러워용..

### 1/5 — Unsafe app for kids

*2026-08-16*

I thought it was a cute idea until I received unsolicited disgusting pictures and I can’t delete them from the app. Kids are on this app! There’s no way for me to delete my data. I’m not sure how this app is allowed on the App Store. There is no privacy policy and the link on the App Store goes to a random site. I highly recommend not downloading this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Overwhelmingly refreshing

*2026-09-08*

Though limited in its capabilities, this app is very welcome in a world of instant messaging. If used correctly, the messages feel thoughtful and deliberate. The limitations of the service are also a strength. Only being able to send one picture at a time, as to not overload your pigeon, makes the experience of writing a letter with an accompanying image very thoughtful.

I think the payment side of things should be made clearer from the on. It took me a little while to realise that I did not need to pay for pigeons at the beginning. And all I had to do was add a friend.
Sharing a pigeon between the person you are sending messages to is a very nice touch, but paying for additional pigeons that are there to enable you to send more messages, twice as fast, distracts from the overarching premise of the app.

I would rather pay for my pigeon to have a fun looking hat, and individual individualised qualities, than for it to fly faster.

Currently, I am messaging one of my friends from Germany, while I am in Australia. Each message takes around 4 days to arrive.
If a pigeon were to die (an interesting addition to the app I will add) it would be a great feature to have a new pigeon be revealed (after a cooldown period or in-app-payment) to both of the participants of the conversation, showing what the pigeon looks like, and maybe some RNG type stats. For example. A standard pigeon could be your average New York pigeon, with average speed. Then a more rare pigeon could be one that flies a little bit faster. And another could be one that flies slower but can hold two or three images in a single message.
Each pigeon that you’ve used can be added to a collection and users that spend the most time on the app will be rewarded with accomplishments that can be cashed in at a pigeon marketplace to buy accessories for their pigeons, or upgrade their stats.
This will create a better user experience, while creating a broader option of revenue streams for their developers.

TLDR: good app, monetisation flawed, wish my pigeon could have hat.

### 5/5 — well trained pigeons

*2026-09-05*

Reliable carrier pigeons service. The pigeons are well trained and consistently fly to destination. We have had only a few lost in flight, but that is to be expected on today’s challenging airspace. We are considering migrating all communications to this platform

### 5/5 — Makes you happy

*2026-09-03*

My friend sent me this and I have been laughing for 30 minutes while setting it up and sending my bird and reading its journey updates! Is it practical - no, but is it fun?- 100%!!!

### 5/5 — For the jokes

*2026-09-02*

I love the idea if we’re being honest! I saw an review from LBDressler(?) and this person is right non of my family and friends(if there was) wasn’t thrilled to use it.. so i'd love the Pen Pal Option :D

### 5/5 — love but ONE medium quam

*2026-08-30*

i think this is such a fun idea, nothing complicated, but so enjoyable. i like that you can opt of location sharing and use a location that you pick. i dont think i get notifications though? i would like to receive a notification once i get a message. or maybe even a daily reminder to check the app bc otherwise ill forget.

one thing tho, the app icon. everything else in the app is simple and minimalistic. the app icon, im so sorry i just dont like it. im not saying it is 100% ai-generated, but it looks as so, which isnt a good look. many people are against use of generative ai, and the app icon is the first thing they will see. even if it isnt ai, the fact that people might think it is, will turn down potential users. i think changing the app icon to just a silhouette of a carrier pigeon will be a lot better for this app’s success.

### 5/5 — Peak

*2026-08-29*

Nothing but the greatest…

### 5/5 — best thing since sliced bread

*2026-08-29*

best thing since bread could be sliced

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-29*

I once sent a pigeon to my friend across the road and within 1 minute of it being released it disappeared in the wind

### 5/5 — Really Cool Concept

*2026-08-29*

Send pigeons in real time at the speed of the world’s fastest pigeon!!

### 5/5 — New Age of Social Media

*2026-08-29*

I doth write this review whilst gazing upon the metaphorical pigeon that hath descended upon my humble stoup, bearing forth a friendly scroll. My mind hath become wholly entwined with thoughts of how magnificent this app truly be. So wondrous is it that my fellow companions now find themselves sending it amongst one another with great haste. Let there be no confusion amongst the kingdom: this may very well be the app of the year.
