It says it’s free but then it asks for payment into. There was no price saying what they were going to charge, but the. I got charged $8.23 for the app. It would of been nice to know I would be charged first ### 1/5 — App and website are unusable across multiple devices *2025-04-12, version 2.11.0* Nothing will load or screen will go blue and be unusable ### 5/5 — No issues… *2025-02-01* Phone: I-phone 13 up-to-date iOS No problems running the app. In fact, I struggle to see whole screen online, but the app lets me see everything correctly. I like Carriers Edge training overall, not just the app. I get certificates of completion emailed to me for my records and I can see I completed modules in the app. If for any reason, my supervisor cannot see I completed it, I can retrace my work. But modules are so short, it’s no big deal to redo. Also, I moved from one contractor to another serving same account. Only one course was not credited to me out of about 12 or so. I just redid it because it would take more time to argue the point than to retake it. I did have proof in my inbox, but it wasn’t worth the fuss. If nothing had moved over, I probably would have spoken up. Overall, seems to be a good way to train. I can use my phone. It does not crash on me. It gives proof of completion. If I have to do the training anyway, I’m happy to use Carriers Edge. ### 1/5 — Stinks *2024-10-24* Really stinks ### 5/5 — Gets the job done *2024-07-11, version 2.8.6* The app provides good access to assignments, tests, and other documents. App crash while trying to open. ### 1/5 — Inop *2024-03-22* The app will no longer run, try opening it and instantly closes. ### 1/5 — It’s pretty glitchy *2023-12-10, version 2.8.1* - The screen likes to go blue a lot during the final test. - Most of the information being given seems like it’s been written by somebody who spends all day in a office and has never set foot in heavy vehicle before. - As an experience driver I can say with upmost certainty that these tests and videos has not improved the way I will drive or handle a heavy vehicle in the future. The old generation of drivers of heavy vehicles were a lot better than this new generation at driving and they didn’t have all these tests and videos to go through to be able to drive. I guess the world has changed too much We rely too much on technologies, companies and the law to tell us what to do and what not to do. ### 1/5 — Terrible app does work or remember progress *2023-09-01* App freezes up all the time in the middle of course and never resumes progress even though it say it will. Fix the freezing and actually allow me to save my progress. Just a mess. ### 2/5 — Hmmm… the presentation *2023-08-01* The presentation is good to great, but if you talk about food, don’t give me a test of how to be a rocket scientist. The test should be base on the theme or presentation or vice-versa, if you take the test for HazMats, the presentation talk about HazMat 1,2,3. But the test is about 9,11,17….
