What a great tool to know they got to school safely. Then when they left for college it was great because I could see the health of the vehicle. If they had issues I knew right away. Not to mention the ability to know if it was ever stolen and be able to recover the car. Knowing where everybody is, and they are safe as well as knowing the health of all vehicles and battery status in the winter is a game changer. It’s accurate. CarRX came with my car when I bought it from the dealership. I like knowing where my car is at all times. I appreciate the trip information. This has been a great app for me in the month that I’ve had my car. One thing to note, everytime I’ve opened the app, the bottom gives me a small pop up. It says “failed to fetch data. Please try again later”. Would appreciate if this got fixed. I don’t know what it could be failing to catch? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst car tracking app *2026-05-07, version 3.1.3* CarRx is the worst car tracking app on the market. Only give general location of vehicle. It often says my car is 3 houses down. It doesn’t keep accurate track of mileage. Customer service is terrible. The dealership I purchased my car wouldn’t sell me the car without it. Went to schedule service tab and app has the dealership I bought my car from as my service dealer. Asked CarRX customer support to change and they said “not an option at this time”. Dealer is 342 miles away. Don’t buy CarRX Elo GPS. What a scam! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-12-09, version 1.7.0* They had a good GPS app “ELO” and made it junk. I bought 2 new cars both had the app installed. Cost $2000 for it. After 7 months they change the app,take away the features, take away the notifications, etc. i had the old app Programed to let me know if car 1 want over 60mph. Now it only allows one speed alert no mater how many vehicles are on the app. My wife drives 80 miles a day on the interstate. Not that the app sends notifications anymore anyway. Now when I log into the app to check one vehicle that should never leave a 10 mile circle I have to click through 100 speed alerts for a vehicle I don’t want it on. $2,000 down the drain. I want a refund.
