## What is Carry?

CarryAware is the situational awareness companion built for licensed concealed-carry permit holders. Using your device's GPS, it quietly monitors your surroundings and alerts you before you reach a location where firearms may be restricted or prohibited — giving you time to make an informed, legal decision.

REAL-TIME LOCATION ALERTS
Get notified as you approach schools, courthouses, government buildings, hospitals, houses of worship, airports, post offices, and other sensitive locations. Every alert includes the restriction type and the relevant state law, so you know exactly what applies and why. Currently available for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, and Massachusetts.

STATE-SPECIFIC LEGAL CONTEXT
CarryAware knows the laws of the state you're in. Alerts and law summaries are tailored to your current state's statutes, covering prohibited locations, permit requirements, vehicle carry rules, duty-to-inform obligations, reciprocity, and more. Detailed offline law references are available for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, and Massachusetts.

SMART ALERTING — NO NOISE
Speed-aware filtering suppresses alerts when you're driving past a location too fast to stop. Dwell-time detection prevents repeated alerts for the same spot. Quiet hours, adjustable sensitivity, per-category toggles, and custom alert sounds let you tune the experience to your routine.

INTERACTIVE MAP
A live map shows nearby sensitive locations color-coded by restriction level, with proximity circles sized to each site's legal buffer zone. See everything around you at a glance.

SEARCH ANY ADDRESS
Look up any address before you leave home and see nearby restricted locations with full legal context — useful for planning routes, appointments, or travel.

OFFLINE-READY
Map data and state law references are cached on-device so core features work without a connection.

PRIVACY FIRST
CarryAware never collects, stores, or transmits your location. All GPS processing happens entirely on your device.

FOUR DISPLAY THEMES
Choose from Classic, Dark, Tactical, and Stealth themes to match your preference and environment.

CarryAware is an informational tool and does not constitute legal advice. Laws vary and change — always verify current statutes with a qualified attorney. Carry responsibly.
