## What is carseal?

carseal gives you independent, tamper-evident proof of your rental car's condition — so you're never charged for damage that wasn't yours.

Before you drive off, do a guided 90-second walk-around scan. carseal seals every photo with a cryptographic hash and a trusted, independent timestamp, then stores it so it can't be altered later. Do the same at drop-off, and carseal compares pickup vs. return panel by panel — showing what's genuinely new versus what was already there.

If the rental company charges you for pre-existing damage, carseal turns your sealed evidence into a one-tap dispute: a rebuttal letter, a card chargeback packet, or an insurance submission — each citing your timestamped proof and a public verification link anyone can check.
