PRICE TAG SCANNER
Tap the camera icon next to the Price field, point at a shelf tag, and the price is captured instantly — no typing required. Text recognition runs entirely on-device using Apple Vision. No photos are stored or transmitted.

REAL-TIME TOTAL WITH TAX
Your subtotal, tax, and grand total update the moment you add an item. All 50 state sales tax rates are built in and always ready.

LOCAL & COUNTY TAX
Add your local or county tax rate on top of the state rate for a more accurate total.

New Features

Price tag scanner — Tap the camera icon next to the Price field to scan a shelf price tag. CartCalc+ uses Apple's Vision framework to read the price directly from the tag, shows you what it found, and lets you confirm or edit before adding it to your cart. No internet connection required — everything happens on-device.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where resetting the cart would also clear your state and local tax settings, despite the confirmation message saying they would be kept
- Fixed the keyboard covering the Price field and Add button on the main screen
- Fixed the keyboard covering the Save button and edit fields when editing an item on the Items screen

Improvements

- The keyboard no longer pops up automatically after adding an item, scanning a price, or switching screens — it only appears when you tap a field
- Tapping anywhere outside a text field now dismisses the keyboard across the entire app
- The Done key on the keyboard now correctly dismisses it in all fields throughout the app
- Clearing all items is now a single instant operation rather than removing them one at a time
- Minor performance improvements throughout the app
