### 1.0.22 — 2026-08-18

In this session, the app's research fee was reduced from $50 to $15 (9,000 XAF), made remotely configurable via a Supabase app_config table so the fee can be updated without a new deployment, and restricted to used car searches only — new car searches now bypass Stripe entirely and activate for free. The app's navigation flow was restructured so that brand new users go through language and currency onboarding once, returning logged-out users land directly on the home page in their saved language, and returning logged-in users see the splash screen in their correct language before being taken home. Two critical translation gaps were fixed — the email confirmation page was entirely hardcoded in French and the splash page was hardcoded in English, both now properly respond to the user's selected language. Several build-breaking issues were resolved including a deprecated Supabase API call, a Gradle version incompatibility blocking Android builds, and a Google Play version code collision. A layout overflow crash on the car details page for vehicles with long model names was also fixed. Throughout all of this, the test suite was expanded from roughly 80 tests to 169, covering the new entry flow, remote config service, conditional fee logic, language persistence, and onboarding detection.

1. Research Fee Reduced — $50 → $15
The service fee for a research request has been lowered from 30,000 XAF (~$50) to 9,000 XAF (~$15). This affects the payment screen, the payment confirmation screen, and the payment failed screen.
2. Bug Fixes & Build Improvements
- Fixed iOS build — Upgraded Supabase initialization to use the current API (publishableKey instead of the deprecated anonKey), resolving a static analysis failure that was blocking iOS and Android builds.
- Fixed Android build — Upgraded the Gradle wrapper from version 8.13 to 8.14 to meet Flutter's minimum requirement, resolving a hard build failure on Android.
- Fixed Google Play upload — Added a version code offset to prevent "version code already used" rejections from Google Play when builds are retried.
- Fixed test suite — Updated the payment page unit test to reflect the new 9,000 XAF fee, resolving the one failing test that was blocking CI.
