They gave me a 3 day lead time and then I never ever got the end product. The fact that I'm going out of my way to write an App Store review is so telling of how very very awful this app is. In the future I'll use someone on Etsy to cartoon a picture for me. But they get a free $29.99 from me even tho I’m not using the app Bcz I’m not sending pictures of myself or my family to strangers. Hope they love the free money without having to work for it haha ### 1/5 — Like everyone says - Absolute Scam *2023-02-06, version 1.5.4* Thankfully, I cancelled the subscription almost immediately after I downloaded it. Also, I didn’t get anything asking me to buy “coins” or paying more than the original fee for the picture (which they never delivered). I did try to cancel the picture before the clock ran out, and the cancel button was there, but it didn’t cancel although the count-down clock disappeared…then the “status of my artwork” remained “submitted.” I don’t know how you can have an app like this for 2 years when people are writing negative reviews right and left and all of us are saying the same thing. It’s pretty shameful of Apple to let it stay in the store and let people keep being charged for it. Update: Apple gave me a refund. I opened a case and a few days later they agreed to refund it and about a week later the money was deposited back to my original payment method (apple wallet). I think I just wrote that I cancelled the purchase immediately and they never provided the in-app purchase I made. That seemed to do the trick. Good luck to everyone in their apple refund ventures. You can do that, but instead of having your iPhone in the application figure out what you would like. They send it to an artist and then you have to wait for the artist to Your cartoon and pay for it. So you’re paying every single time you make a cartoon plus the one year subscription. There is no recourse. There is no way to get the money back. Should be very careful when you purchase these applications because Apple is not keeping track of them and they’re ripping people off. Just check the feedback check the reviews and you’ll see this is a rip off. APPLE should be ashamed of themselves.
