They do have a tricky clause on how they pay you. They base what you get from the customer on what they pay you because they have a minimum of $20 delivery fee. So if the customer pays you $20 then ezcater will pay you $5 or less. Once you do log in, it logs you out after an hour and when you try to log back in, all you get is a blank white screen. This is across all accounts. Reinstalling fixes the issue only for one time, then the cycle repeats. I worked with this company through a third-party called Para, I receive 2 to 3 orders a week, and I would receive payment for that order by the very next morning! Once I signed up with this company, I literally get offered one order on a two week average and then they want to make you wait 8 to 9 days to get paid!😂😂😂 This is a small time company trying to build itself up to the status of the key players in the gig app economy. Don’t let them use you and your vehicle in route to that! they will waste your time and treat you like you’re one of their employees just so they don’t have to pay you California prop 22 active time and active miles #classaction! Please sign up for another catering company or another gig app company, that will not just sporadically use you for their benefit, but will actually give you something in exchange that can tangibly help you provide a livelihood for yourself and your loved ones! it’s high time we stop allowing minor corporations to take advantage of us. please strongly consider what I’m saying. **Developer response:** We genuinely appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. Thank you for your understanding. ### 5/5 — New version crashes upon opening *2023-10-11, version 4.0.18* Crashes opening app.can not use please update ### 1/5 — Very bad app with horrible people to work with *2023-09-27* Don’t waste your time working for this people, the work is very slow, you will be lucky if you get an order ever week, then they keep harassing you with messages and calls to remind you for the pick up, when you go to the restaurant you will have to wait for hours to pick up the order, most of the drop off locations are very difficult, they ask you to pay for your own background check and DMV record, if a customer say something bad about you they will block you from using the app. Very abusive 🙁 **Developer response:** Hi Abdul, We apologize for the unfortunate experience you encountered. The company has no problem ignoring drivers and gives no real solutions. ### 1/5 — Misclassifies Contractors and punishes like an employer. *2026-06-10* This morning I had an emergency with one of my dogs and had to drop my order because I wasn’t going to make it. I was sent a rude text message telling me that I’m being penalized for dropping the order and then as an act of retaliation they removed my order for tomorrow to try to punish me. When I reached out and reminded them of Colorado Law and that their actions put them at risk of misclassifying me as a contractor and enacting retaliation against me for exercising my rights as a contractor, I was completely removed from the platform. DO NOT LET THESE WORTHLESS SCAM ARTISTS LOOKING FOR CHEAP EMPLOYEES TO OVERSTEP THEIR BOUNDARIES. THEY ARE NOT YOUR EMPLOYER, THEY ARE YOUR CLIENT. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF LABOR. SCAMMY, SHADY, SLEAZY COMPANY. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! I REPEAT. Unacceptable. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-08-26* 🚨 Why Cartwheel is terrible for drivers: • 💸 Low pay for massive jobs – one driver delivered 100 containers of hot food, got burned, and was paid just $100. • ⏳ Sparse work – some drivers report averaging only 1 order every two weeks. • 🕑 Delayed payouts – payments can take 8–9 days or longer. • 🏢 No accountability – Cartwheel is just software. This will allow us to confirm orders that are for early morning runs. A little bump and n the road with wrong address info from customer, but quickly corrected and the supervisor support was 100/10 with help. As an app I definitely have to give his functionality five stars.
