But these add up to only 4800 points. Now the consistent way to get points seems to be by spending money with a linked card at participating businesses. With an exchange rate of 8 points per $1 spent. One of their cheaper rewards is one day of self parking at places like the Americana for 3920 points. Converted to dollars that’s $490 spent at participating businesses to receive one day of parking. The daily rate at the Americana is $24. Now let’s work our way up to some more expensive rewards. Two movie tickets at AMC theater 13,150 point or $1,643.75 in eligible purchases. AMC ticket prices are between $8 and $20 each. $100 off at select restaurants is 35,200 points or $4400 in eligible purchases. The most expensive reward is one night stay at Rosewood Miramar for 733,333 points or 91,666.62 in eligible purchases. One night stay according to google is between $1600 and $2000 dollars. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2025-08-07* Keep crashing ,points do not show up ### 1/5 — No points *2024-02-25* It’s been a few weeks and points are not showing up. Now sure what’s the point of this. ### 1/5 — CARUSO IS A HACK *2024-02-17* The concierge desk at the Americana in Glendale said that if I downloaded this app I could have my parking validated because they no longer validate with tickets. 5 minute process to set up an account, and the e-pass didn’t scan! Had to pay for parking even after giving failed mayoral candidate Rick Caruso my email and birthday. 🙄 Just another example of tech setting us backwards to broker your data to billionaires. Don’t be a fool like me: DON’T DOWNLOAD. If you have, DELETE IT. ### 1/5 — Can’t sign in, email verification not received *2024-01-15* was told the app can offset parking cost. Tried to sign up, but can’t get past the email verification stage , never got the confirmation (could be hotmail’s fault). ### 1/5 — App won’t let me sign in and there is no support that I can find for this app *2022-10-28* I can’t sign in. I signed up and the screen disappeared when I went to my email to get the confirmation code. Now it won’t let me sign in and when I try to sign up again it says that I have already signed up. I couldn’t find a contact number or email to get support. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2022-10-26* You can’t even sign up for an account without it crashing. Classic Caruso. A taste of what his Mayoral career would resemble. ### 1/5 — Crappy program *2022-09-28* This rewards program requires you to link your cards and say if someone else pays with their card and you’re the only one with the rewards. You can’t even get the points. Would give it 0 stars if possible. If you didn’t link one card in and used a different one that’s the same thing or a company card. ### 2/5 — No points awarded as promised *2025-08-24* I downloaded the app and never received the 2000 points as promised. I also love the aesthetic and the variety on the rewards we can earn. Sweet! ### 5/5 — Super Simple *2022-11-04* This app is super simple and easy to use. There used to be a Caruso Rewards app that one had to upload receipts to, but this one simply tracks purchases and grants Caruso Coin for them. You can easily see all of the participating stores and restaurants for each property and trade in your coins for rewards, like free parking and restaurant vouchers. ### 5/5 — Cool program *2022-10-04* It’s rare to see a program that combines various different retailers and restaurants and hotels together in one. Pretty cool to be able to accumulate points across different locations and get rewarded.
