Then 24 hours response from support page unacceptable ### 1/5 — UNADDRESSED ISSUES *2020-11-09* Login does not persist, constantly logged out, hardware node does not receive software updates when known vulnerabilities have been in the wild for months now. Pre-ordered version 2, many months late, promises to increase subscription end to account for delay, charges me after one month later when node was almost four months late. Unable to address issues because of “privacy reasons” yet they the app sends a lot of personal device information to Google via Firebase. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear of your concerns and issues. Please contact help@team.casa to work out any subscription or payment issues. ### 1/5 — Not recommended can’t set up wallets *2020-09-07* No happy with this app , they charge me the whole subscription even if you can make it work or not ,I got problems with my nano ledger S I can’t set it up ,I cancel my subscription and now they said they cannot give me a refund ,they just cancel the subscription until next year that’s not fair, I don’t wanna say this is a scam because they say is not his problem if you can’t set it up your wallet they want you to try different ways I did , with any result, I called them to cancel and now they can’t give me any refund ,be aware if you not really good on crypto world and hardware wallets not recommended **Developer response:** This customer was refunded on Sept 9th. We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously and are happy to work with them to get set up properly with Casa. If a customer is not able to get set up to their satisfaction with our service we absolutely would not keep their money and refuse a refund. In this specific case you were unwilling to work with us to try to help you resolve your ledger issue. Your refund request was further delayed because you were not able to verify the email address that owned the account and this is a required step for cancellation. Once this was done we were able to process the refund for you. ### 3/5 — Ideal for Beginners, not so much for advanced Bitcoiners *2023-12-11* First of all I would say that Casa is a great wallet for people new to Bitcoin and mult-signature custody. Definitely worth every penny to have that extra layer of security when figuring out how it all works. I was happy with Casa for awhile but as I have been in Bitcoin for awhile I learned they didn’t have certain features which is concerning in a high fee environment. FYI if you don’t send your transaction with a high enough fee from your initial transaction it will get stuck in the mempool because the Casa wallet doesn’t allow you to replace by fee, unlike most modern wallets today. This struck me as odd considering it’s 2023. Not trying to bad moth casa just wanted users to be aware. Hopefully this feature is available in the future. Overall good wallet for beginners. They clearly are overwhelmed and understaffed. Give them time! We do not have many choices. Is the service tax deductible? No-one I ask knows the answer. (In their information they said they would assist in such*) Now I find: "Note that Casa does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice or services, and urges you to consult a qualified professional for such advice and services." I was led to believe they could answer simple Trust questions. (Does one need to identify account in Trust?) No answers. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review. Setting up the vault was straightforward—the app walks you through creating a mobile key, connecting your hardware wallet, and adding the recovery key. No complicated scripts or technical jargon required. I love that no single key can move my Bitcoin. I hold the mobile key and hardware key, so Casa can’t touch the funds on their own, yet I still have a solid recovery path if something goes wrong. The health check feature is brilliant—it periodically confirms all keys are working so I’m never caught off guard. The interface is clean and intuitive, transactions are easy to manage, and the inheritance tools give real peace of mind for the long term. It’s the perfect middle ground between a basic hardware wallet and full DIY multisig. If you want stronger security than a single-signature setup without becoming a Bitcoin developer, Casa’s 2-of-3 is excellent.
