## What is Casa?

No sticky notes on the fridge, no three separate group chats about groceries, and no more "I already vacuumed last week".

Casa keeps track of who does what around the house: chores, groceries, the calendar and who paid for what. Built for student housing, shared apartments, couples and young professionals. No ads.

CHORES & TASKS

Create tasks, assign them to roommates and set them to repeat. From the dishwasher and the trash to vacuuming and the bathroom. Everyone can see what needs doing and whose turn it is, so nobody has to bring it up. Completed tasks stay visible, including who did them. Each morning you get a short summary of what's on your plate that day.

GROCERIES

Shared shopping lists that update live. Add something, claim what you're picking up and check it off once it's in the cart. Nobody buys milk for the third time.

CALENDAR & PLANNING

House dinners, birthdays, visitors or recurring commitments. One shared calendar for the whole house, showing at a glance who's in and who's out.

SHARED SPACES & BOOKINGS

Book shared spaces and things: the washing machine, the living room, the car or the roof deck. That way everyone knows when something's taken.

SPLITTING COSTS

Track shared expenses, split them evenly, by weight or down to the cent, and see exactly who still owes what to whom. No more working it out at the end of the month.

WHO'S EATING IN

Who's cooking tonight, and for how many? Say whether you're eating in, add what's on the menu and plan the rest of the week ahead.

POLLS

Deep clean on Saturday or Sunday? Pizza or pasta? Ask the house a question and let everyone vote.

SET UP IN A MINUTE

Create a house and send your roommates the invite link. They tap it, download casa and land straight in the right house. No codes to type in.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-25

your shopping list works without a signal now. in the back of the store it's just there, and
ticking things off works right away. once you're back online everything syncs to your
housemates on its own.

the list also scrolls properly while you're typing. the keyboard used to cover the bottom
items. exactly when the list gets long enough that you'd want to check what's already on it.

also: on "what's for dinner", save and cancel respond to the first tap now, and creating a
house or entering a code no longer hides behind the keyboard.

and if your house doesn't count in euros: the owner can switch the house to dollars or pounds
in settings.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-12

creating tasks and events is a lot calmer now. you pick roommates by their avatar, the date from a strip of days, and everything else sits quietly underneath instead of competing for attention.

a task can now go to several roommates at once. handy for jobs you do together. and the "done" tab shows who ticked something off.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-06

casa has a new layout. your tasks and shopping list are up front now, the calendar got its own spot, and meals are one single screen. your groceries also show up right on your home screen.

inviting roommates now works with a link instead of just a code: they tap it and can download casa straight away.

bug fixes:
- recurring tasks move along properly when you check them off early or late
- the calculator in the amount field deletes the right character again

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-04

casa now helps you get going a little faster.

still a quiet house? you'll get a gentle nudge toward your first task. and with the new "?" button on every screen, you can see how everything works at a glance.

also nicer: the "who's eating tonight?" overview on your home screen is clearer now, and anyone in the house can set the menu; not just the cook.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-24

NEW IN VERSION 1.0.1

This update is mainly about interaction.

Actions that used to be hidden behind a long press or a small pencil icon can now often be done with a single tap. We are especially curious to hear whether this feels logical and natural.

New and updated actions:

Tap a day in the weekly overview to fill in the cook and meal in advance.
Tap an expense in Balance to edit it.
Tap a task, reservation or calendar event to edit it.
For groceries, tap the row to edit the item name.
“I’ll get it” is now a separate button for grocery items.
You can rename a room using the pencil next to its name.
Completed polls are now sorted with the most recently closed poll at the top.
