This has been bugging me since I got this litter box, but it doesn’t tell you when the cat has just used the litter box, it only mentions that the cat has used the litter box during cleanings. I would really appreciate if the app would mention when the cat actually uses the box, as well as when the cleaning cycle begins. Also, as others have mentioned, improving the notification system would be great. Having a toggle for each different type of notification would be nice, and I’d still like a notification when it is full, during the do not disturb schedule, or even better, once the scheduled time is over. Usually it ends up full during the night, and the litter box becomes very gross and much harder to clean if I don’t notice until the following evening. Otherwise, I like the features of this litter box and the app. At first I was very disappointed, but I removed the plastic cover over the waste collection and it was a significant improvement. Everything makes it in properly now. I just use a bit of tape to keep the bag from shifting too much, but it doesn’t seem necessary most of the time.

Having this cat box was supposed to help us save our time and energy but they brake easily and when you contact support they want more money from you ($200) to help you “fix” the problem. It’s taken me months to deal with support to help me with this problem. I’ll never purchase anything with this company again. Please save your sanity and go anywhere else for an automated cat box.

I really wanted to love the Leo’s Loo, but I’m disappointed. The drum on my unit tore about six months ago, and the company has been out of stock on replacements ever since, with no clear timeline or update. The tear is too big to work around, and I end up losing too much litter every time it cycles- which gets costly fast. I just can’t imagine spending almost $1,000 on a product and not being able to use it for half a year. It’s unacceptable.

To make things worse, the company offered me an extended warranty for $140-but it doesn’t even cover the drum, which is the main issue. So I’m still stuck with an unusable unit. It’s ridiculous, and the fact that the company’s higher-ups haven’t taken this seriously or addressed it publicly is incredibly disappointing. Because of this entire experience, I won’t be purchasing from this company again.

The base to this box becomes faulty every so often and I have had to send back and receive a new one multiple times. Just get the litter robot. Support is helpful and nice but you get a response every couple days it is not a speedy process. Once your warranty expires you are out of luck.

The clump bin is constantly indicating full, when it is not. The tech is not integrated to identify a truly full bin, the required constant shifting of the bin, to lower a clump. Too keep the box functioning, requires as much attention as a traditional box does.

Needs more routine updates. At least a few times a year. I get constant offline messages with my litter box. The factory reset option and turning it off doesn’t really help. I love the litter box but the app and connectivity needs work.
