They updated the app a while back and since then it got worse. It crashes when you try to upload/deposit checks and I often can’t even log in to check my account. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2018-02-17* I really wanted to like this new app. I’ve been using it since it first came out and I still am not used to it. It’s not at all user friendly like the previous version. Where’s the “help” link when a feature isn’t working properly? Now one transaction at a time so scrolling, scrolling through pages to see all the transactions. Wish I could go back to the old app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Barely functional *2024-02-02, version 23.14.1* Used to be able to handle any banking function needed. Since update, checking a text for two-factor authentication closes the input window, meaning the code that was sent can no longer be used. As of today, mobile deposit appears non-functional, the buttons to take photos of a check do nothing. ### 1/5 — App update removed useful features for almost no reason *2023-10-10* I’ve been using the cascade app for the majority of my banking for almost 5 years. The old app used to look less visually appealing but worked great. It had the feature to check your account balances without even having to log in! Now with the new update you HAVE to sign in every. Single. Time. In order to check your account balances, this is such a stupid change why do I have to type in my password and occasionally my security questions JUST to check my account balance? The whole point of an app is to save me time now if I need to check my balance at checkout I’ll either have to take MORE of my time to do so or check before I even get to the store.. The new update does make the app visually appear better but IMO I hate how clustered the screen is now when you want to check your withdrawals and where and what took the charge when before it just told you who charged you and the amount.. Every time you need it to work it says that’s the application is unavailable. I’ve called the bank several times. It’s takes a lot for me to not like an app. I’ve waiting for them to try and fix the bugs but it’s worse. However, it crashes All. The. Time! I don’t know what bugs need to be worked out, but I’m super tired of my app crashing every time I try to deposit a check or move funds around. ### 2/5 — Crashes on first try on every deposit *2018-08-27* Would be a VERY useful app if it didn’t crash the first time I try to make a deposit EVERY SINGLE TIME. Log in, pick mobile deposit, pick the account, take a picture of the front of the check, crash. Then you have to completely close the app and go back to step one. Then it works. Didn’t used to do this.
