You would think PBS would come up with a decent system. As others have mentioned, some shows aren't available, probably because I'm in Canada. But there's no way of knowing without trying to open one, and then the entire app freezes. Sometimes the Program List doesn't populate at all. The programs often stop streaming and don't start again unless the app is re-opened. I have tried five programs with the same result. I have an iPad and it is new so I know it is not my technology. We are suppose to be able to use Passport in British Columbia and I have paid an additional fee to use the service. It doesn’t seen to remember what I am watching with the App on the smart TV even though it’s the same sign-in. There are programs it won’t let me watch with the iPhone app. I can’t cast to another device. But this app is worlds behind other streaming apps in terms of search-ability and streaming. If I watch Season 1 episode 3 of Vienna Blood, the next time I open the app I have to search for Vienna Blood, search for the season and episode and start playing from the beginning. That’s nuts. And when I finish an episode, it doesn’t automatically go to the next. I use all kinds of streaming apps and they all do that. It seems pretty basic. So, three stars until they get up to speed.
