## What is Case Marker?

Case Marker Pro is a workspace for organizing and annotating dental clinical photos and case media.

Create projects, import photos and videos from Photos, Camera, Files, drag and drop, or the system share menu, then refine each image with rotation, leveling, crop, perspective, brightness, contrast, saturation, temperature, clarity, and reference-point white balance controls.

Add markers, leader lines, labels, styled text boxes, freehand drawings, and reusable image stamps. Built-in marker types provide neutral workflow defaults—Observation, Pending, and Needs Action—and can be renamed, recolored, reordered, or given custom default text.

Case Marker Pro is a manual organization and annotation tool. It does not provide automated diagnosis, disease detection, treatment recommendations, or medical decision-making. Clinical decisions should be made by qualified professionals based on individual assessment.

“Color Alignment” is mainly used when photos from the same case have inconsistent color temperatures, helping the images look more visually consistent.
Common use cases include:
Before-and-after photos taken at different times or under different lighting.
A series of intraoral photos where some appear warmer or cooler than others.
Photos captured using different cameras, phones, flashes, or white-balance settings.
Case collages or presentations where consistent color makes comparison easier.
Photos taken with a gray card or neutral reference, but affected by imperfect automatic white balance.
To use it, choose the photo with the most reliable color as the reference. Then select points representing the same or a similar neutral color in both images—for example, a gray card, a white retractor, or the same area of a tooth. The app adjusts the target photo based on the difference between those sampled colors.
It is less suitable when:
The photos were taken under dramatically different lighting conditions.
The selected points do not represent the same material or actual color.
Precise dental shade measurement or clinical diagnosis is required.
Color Alignment is intended to improve visual consistency across case photos. It does not replace standardized photography or professional shade-matching methods.
