### 1/5 — Not free. Must subscribe to use

*2018-11-14*

Title says it all
First screen when opening app for first time is subscribe to get a free trail offer. 🤬
So I wrote this review and deleted app.

### 1/5 — Forces you to buy a subscription immediately upon opening the app

*2018-09-28*

What a sham

### 1/5 — No Free Option

*2018-09-28*

This app relies purely on a subscription payment.

### 1/5 — Have to pay to use it

*2018-09-27*

I’m not happy to pay monthly fees to use this app

### 1/5 — Not free

*2018-08-29*

Free to download, cost $ to use.

### 1/5 — PAID APP

*2018-04-18*

There is no free/lite version. ONLY PAID. Misleading.

### 1/5 — What happened to the paid version of the app??

*2017-11-10*

I paid $5 for the other app that was discontinued.. really disappointed :((

### 1/5 — Misleading price tag on this app

*2017-11-06*

Seems like it's going to be a great app but you literally cannot do one single thing until you pay a subscription fee. You can do a one week trial, but after that you still have to pay.

### 1/5 — Paid App

*2017-08-16*

Only free to download thanks for wasting my time pity I have to give you a star to post this

### 1/5 — Pile of crap

*2017-07-27*

They fail to mention it is subscription based.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I’m not paying for this

*2023-08-13*

Wow, you actually want me to pay a subscription for this app?

Must be a record for how fast I’ve deleted one.

### 1/5 — Not free or trial

*2023-06-23*

Not free. Have to pay to use. It should state that.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-02-20*

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

### 1/5 — Needs Work!

*2021-12-06*

Can’t find how to change period of loan, which is currently set at 5 years only. 🤔 I’ve tried everything to change a loan payment to monthly for 10 years. I need to have the opportunity to have different loan lengths.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2021-10-06*

I downloaded this app and paid for a year only to find that it doesn’t really do what it claims to do. There’s nowhere to enter scheduled payment amounts, late fees, etc. Not useful to me at all. 🙁

### 1/5 — Help

*2020-06-26*

I want my money on my chime card

### 1/5 — Unbelievably bad

*2020-02-10*

I wonder how people can think that they’ll make an app and then make it quite literally, unusable. Why? It just wastes time and effort. It’s even asking for money? It’s practically fraud!

### 1/5 — No help

*2019-12-15*

After using this app for years, the new version is a subscription and has no facility to bring the previous data forward. The old version will not open with the new IOS. After numerous attempts, Sockii has not responded

### 1/5 — Need One Set Price!!

*2019-11-07*

I was a fan of the first app. I had it since 2016 and am still using that app today. The app was so useful that I paid the one time price to purchase the app and all of its features.

You turned off the due date feature on that app, which is crazy. But I was going to try the new app and upgrade because of how much I liked the first one. The subscription part is just ridiculous though. If you just chose a one time price, or gave an option for a one time fee, I would certainly pay it because I am a fan.

Please consider a one time fee for the app. I would pay up to $15 if you gave a one month trial and it was just as good as the first app.

### 1/5 — Monthly fees

*2018-12-09*

This app requires monthly subscription!
I’m not paying that!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Experience

*2025-02-12*

It’s very easy and excellent technology

### 5/5 — Love it

*2022-03-24*

Great app

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2018-11-01*

You made my life easier. Thank you so much for making a wonderful app. It’s quite easy to track cash loans, due dates, interest rate and total due calculations

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-10-06*

Could b alot better with some updates like letting u decide custom messages and reminders

### 4/5 — Everything that I was looking for.

*2026-07-12*

Unfortunately there is no way you can talk to them. They do not reply to emails. There are some bugs which do not allow the app to function at fully even after having a subscription. Examples: When trying to share the owe money it puts wrong info on it, and sometimes it takes a while to update the info after deleting it keeps appearing as it was never deleted before l.

### 4/5 — Good app needs enhancement

*2025-09-24*

Modify this so it can be used for payment for services . Allow 0 entry to indicate no service was performed on that day . Good idea get monthly positions or net balance during a time period

### 4/5 — Not free

*2020-03-15, version 3.1.11*

It’s not free, it’s a subscription. Too bad it’s exactly what I need.

### 4/5 — Don’t know why...

*2017-11-08*

After the ios update, its like it never saved any of my loans to the cloud and i have to pay again when i had already purchased it. Weird and not helpful in trying to remember my loans and payments after an account restore. Would have got one star but i didn’t want to be mean in my anger. Its a good program other than that, and $7 isn’t bad for one year. Thats just a cup of coffee to me.

### 2/5 — Lack of Improvement

*2022-04-08, version 3.2.0*

There’s just no more improvements to this app

### 2/5 — Ok with several huge flaws

*2018-09-21*

Whoever wrote this app doesn’t understand arithmetic. For an app that requires a monthly paid subscription with no trial period, you would expect basic accounting principles to be followed. Here are a couple of examples.

- If you have a history of transactions with one person, and they pay you back a little extra for something, the overpayment is completely ignored in your total for that person. It took me an hour to figure out why the extra ten bucks my friend paid me wasn’t showing up in his total. To fix it I had to take his payment off that transaction and enter it separately.
- Each of your friends’ amount owed totals up nicely when you are looking at that one friend (say I pay for something $100 and they pay for something $150 then I show owing them $50). But in the total dashboard, they still appear separately, showing I owe $150 and am owed $50. These transactions should offset when you are trying to get an overall amount you owe or are owed.

I could maybe understand these basic errors if the developers were not also greedy about requiring you to pay for their app.
