### 2/5 — The idea is great but it’s not there yet

I just paid to get the pro access to customize and everything is still preset. I can’t personally customize items. I have to change from the given options. Also the QR codes generated do not work to share. Big negative. 
Idea 10/10 function 3/10. I need to be able to personally customize food options and share for other cashiers to use.

thank you for taking the time to write this — and I’m sorry the Pro experience didn’t match what you expected. The idea of fully custom food options and sharing with other cashiers is exactly what we want to support well.

Could you please email us at support@goalino.app? That way we can look into your case in detail (especially the QR sharing). We haven’t seen this in our test group, and we want to fix anything that’s broken as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, here’s how to create your own items (Pro):

Open your event → Articles
Tap Add new article
Then either:
Create your own article under General — for a fully custom item, or
Select an event template, then Create your own article — to add a custom item in that event context (also useful as a preset-style starting point)
You can also switch regions in the picker to see more region-specific article ideas in our presets.
About the QR code: other cashiers need the app installed, and the code must be scanned inside Goalino (Scan QR), not only with the iPhone Camera app. If that still fails after both devices have the app, please tell us in your email what you tried (share as image vs. scan on screen, etc.) — we’ll dig in right away.
