It was easy to use and simple to set up. One of the biggest takeaways is that I can have employees in other market locations use the point on sale on their phones without disclosing confidential passwords or information. That’s a game changer. The multi functionality of the app in unmatched. CASHDROP has figured out how to make it equitable for the business owner by not taking commissions or percentage of sales. What they do differently is charge the customer a nominal percentage on each sale. We charge $1 and we make $1. Not only that but the support is the best I’ve ever experienced. Super on top of feedback and assistance within 10 minutes or less on the app. Special shout out to Dre on the support team. And CashDrop just makes it simple to run a business, have communication with your clients and be in control of your product/service. You can’t connect it to your Apple Pay or Cash app or whatsoever. This is just terrible because some kids don’t have access to bank account. give me your Social Security number to sign up for one which is too much where it be sometimes kids can’t get access to theirs. It’s terrible and they would fix the stuff and make a version of this app. Easier for kids to use are like teens then I’m never gonna I’m gonna delete the app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2024-05-14, version 2.0.4* I’ve tried to signup as a new merchant and use the existing merchant with my phone number. No code is ever sent and you cannot move past that screen. It’s a bug that needs to be fixed. I’ve tried restarting my phone , deleting the app and reinstalling and still no luck. ### 1/5 — Customer perspective - Inferior to other payment apps *2021-01-07* For consumers, Cashdrop has become an inferior experience to every other payments app. There’s no way to store payment data, and they removed the ability to use Apple Pay in the app to add an extra layer of security. I don’t want to enter my card info into a browser, or store it in my browser, I want to use the randomized secure Apple Pay option. There’s also no way to store favorites or create a profile. This is as barebones as it gets and it’s not a good customer experience. Would love to see more effort put in by the development team to make this a good customer experience and not just a bargain basement option for businesses. **Developer response:** Hello there, We really appreciate your feedback 🙏. Wanted to let you know that you can actually use ApplePay on your web browser!
