You can use it to track multiple accounts, even amortizing loans, transfers, etc and obviously see you future cash-flow charted out over virtually any amount of time. I use it daily and have an ipad soley because of this app - not exaggerating, it's that useful. I had run into several bugs in the newer versions of the app on ipad, and Chris the developer wad super responsive and really went the extra mile to resolve the bugs I had reported. There is one niggling bug that apparently is an apple issue (cant always close edit dialog after making a change to an item) that he wasn't able to squash, but still give this app 5 stars (in reality for me it goes to 11). **Developer response:** Thanks for the great feedback! Is your file saved to the local drive, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or somewhere else? FYI we’re currently working on an update that addresses many known issues, including iOS 26 compatibility. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2025-04-21* This app no longer works. You can open the app, and set up your accounts and transactions, but once you exit the app you can’t re-open it. I’ve emailed the creator but got no response. **Developer response:** Hi - Are you still having this issue? Did you save your file to the local device, iCloud or somewhere else? We have a couple of options that may help: - We can add you as a beta tester. Running the beta version should make getting crash logs and general diagnosis much easier for us. - We have a “Data anonymizer” tool available at https://cashflowsapp.com/Cashflows/anonymize-cashflows.html. It runs completely in your browser, so isn’t sending any information directly to us. Here’s how to use it: 1. Click “Choose File” and browse to your Cashflows Pro data file. 2. Click the “Anonymize” button, and it’ll scramble the names and amounts of all transactions. However, it’ll retain dates and recurrence intervals (since these are likely to be the cause of unexpected behaviors). 3. Click the “Copy to clipboard” button to copy the scrambled content into your clipboard, which you can then paste directly into an email. 4. We can then open the scrambled file in a development environment and check directly for crashes etc. ### 1/5 — Junk *2023-09-23* Support page shows how to use this app in iOS. Does not appear to be supported on recent versions of MacOS. Most options are greyed-out. ### 2/5 — Needs updated *2024-03-10* I love this app, BUT it is in serious need of updating the program. Lately I have found that some of my reoccurring bills have disappeared from the account yet are still listed in the reoccurring bills section of said account. I then must delete the reoccurring charge & re-enter it. Because of this issue I do not have an accurate portrayal of where I am heading with my money. It must not be keeping up with the latest Apple updates. For example, I can't tap and open sometimes. I'm using an Ipad. Then later in the day it may open, it does this randomly. If you don’t like this app, fine, but objectively this app does everything exactly as advertised and smoothly too. On top of that, it’s actually good and really hits the gap in the market because no other app provides such a simple task of forecasting your money without having to pay monthly. 📈 This app has a smooth graph, similar to PocketSmith, that let’s you glide across the timeline like butter in pan. 🔄 The flexibility of adding and tweaking recurring items surpasses apps like Moneydance for its simplicity. ✨ It looks much simpler and cleaner than apps bigger apps like MoneyWiz. 🏦 It lacks certain features found in the sunsetted app Money Dashboard (R.I.P.), such as budgets and synchronised bank accounts. 🗓️ It’s missing a classic calendar view, however it has the most intuitive timeline view I’ve used, including very clear icons to identify the type of transaction, such as transfer icons, and they are also color coded so you know whether it’s debit or credit! Like, is this the one app to rule them all? No. But is there an app that does all of this, AND does it for 2-frikkin-99 (£2.99)? HELL NO! THANK YOU DEV, HERE’S A WELL EARNED 5 STAR.
