## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.4 — 2026-07-30

Cashful analytics have been rebuilt around one question: where did my money go, and is that normal for me?

The four tabs are gone. Analytics is now a single report you scroll. It opens with what you spent and one line telling you how that compares to the previous period, then shows which categories moved the most, your spending pace against your usual months, where the money went, and the charges that keep coming back.

Repeating expenses are new. Cashful now spots rent, subscriptions and memberships on its own, from the rhythm and size of what you enter, and shows roughly what they cost you each month. If something is not really a repeat, press and hold to remove it.

Every figure is now a door. Tap a category, an account or a day and you land on the operations behind it, ready to fix anything filed in the wrong place.

The period you are looking at is always visible at the top, together with the account and the currency, and it stays in step with the home screen. Comparisons appear only once there is enough history to make them honest, and months where you barely entered anything are left out of the averages instead of quietly dragging them down.

Alongside all this: accounts in the red are no longer hidden from the balance list, the no-spend streak counts properly across the turn of a month, typical daily spending is no longer thrown off by a single rent payment, and Cashful now warns you when an amount is shown in a currency it has no exchange rate for.

The home screen is smoother too. Swiping between months no longer stutters, even with years of history. A selected category on the chart now clears when you tap away or move to another month, taps no longer fire by accident while you swipe, and amounts simply update instead of animating.

Voice entry now works with taps instead of a long press. Tap the microphone to start recording, speak as long as you need, then tap anywhere to send. The microphone and receipt buttons sit right inside the chart, with no panel around them.

We also polished account transfers and updated Cashful Pro pricing.

As always, your financial data stays private, living only on your device and in your iCloud.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-07-08

Add expenses even faster, with a calmer and more reliable Cashful.

- Voice input and receipt scanning: log an expense just by speaking or snapping a photo. Both are now free to try, five of each, and unlimited with Cashful Pro.
- Cashful now speaks Polish, bringing the app to 11 languages.
- Multi-currency transfers fill in the converted amount for you and keep the right exchange rate when you switch accounts.
- Your balances and budgets on the Home screen update in real time, and in a shared space your partner's changes appear right away.
- Dates now follow your region everywhere, and amounts from voice and receipts come in clean.

Your data stays private, on your device and in your iCloud.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-07-05

Meet subcategories — quick, colorful tags that live under any category.

Set them up once from a category's screen: add, rename, recolor, and drag to put them in the order you like. Then, while adding an expense or income, pick one in a single tap. Right under the amount, the note line now scrolls sideways to reveal your subcategory tags — swipe across and choose the one you need. Don't have any for this category yet? A dashed "+" tag lets you create one on the spot, and it's selected for you right away.

It's the fast, tidy way to note what a spend was really for — "Groceries" under Food, "Fuel" under Car — without typing it out every time.

Your subcategories are everywhere they should be. They sync across your devices with iCloud, they're included in CSV export and import, and Analytics gains a per-category breakdown so you can see exactly where the money inside a category goes.

And everything you already have keeps working exactly as before. Categories without subcategories look and behave just like they always did — subcategories are there when you want them, invisible when you don't.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-06-24

Picking a category or account is more colorful now. Each option appears as its own color-coded card with the icon woven into the background, so the one you need is easier to spot at a glance — in the entry form and the account filter alike.

The home screen feels more personal too. When you filter by a single account, the soft glow behind the chart picks up that account's color, so the screen quietly matches whatever account you're viewing. Choose "All accounts" and the classic look stays. The center of the chart now also shows the name of the account you're viewing — or "All accounts" when nothing's filtered — so the numbers always have context.

Adding an expense, income, or transfer is smoother as well: the form now closes the instant you save, with no flicker in the balance preview.

Typing amounts feels better in the hand, too. The number pad now answers with a crisper, stronger tap the moment you press a key, so entering figures feels quick and responsive instead of slightly delayed.

Your totals stay in sync, instantly. Edit the amount on an existing transaction and your account balances update right away — no need to reopen the app. And whenever a figure changes, it now rolls smoothly into place: balances, income, and expense animate the way the running balance always has.

Analytics is cleaner, too. Dates along the bottom of the charts no longer crowd or overlap, so trends are easier to read at a glance, and the filters at the top now scroll with the page like everything else.

iPad gets some love as well. The home screen and the new-entry form now make better use of the bigger display: the number pad, account and category pickers all stay in view, and the controls around the chart are sized to fit.

### 1.1.19 — 2026-06-23

Snap a receipt, get an expense. Cashful's new receipt scan reads any photo and fills in the total, category, account, and date for you — the same effortless flow as voice input.

A fresh, premium Home screen. A deeper dark look, a smoother donut chart that shows income and expense at a glance, with voice and receipt scan built right into the chart.

A built-in calculator keyboard. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide right in the amount field on expense, income, and transfer forms — and see each account's balance before and after the transaction.

Faster pickers. Accounts and categories now open as compact card tiles, each showing its balance or monthly total, so you choose in a tap.

Plus polish throughout: smarter transfer defaults from your history, cleaner form layouts, and clearer category insights on Home.

Thanks for using Cashful! Update for the smoothest, fastest way yet to track your money.
