Their service is extremely poor, and the customer support is just as bad. The application itself is unreliable — you can’t successfully complete transactions no matter how many times you try. Payments keep getting declined over and over, and it feels like they never update or improve their system. It is incredibly frustrating when you need to send money for your business, family, or any urgent matter, only to be blocked by a broken app and unhelpful service. Once people start trusting them and using their services, they stop caring about their customers. I used this app a few months ago to send money to my family in Ethiopia—it worked smoothly and was easy to use. But when I tried it again recently, most of the banks had already withdrawn from the platform, and the few that remained didn’t work at all. The app is full of bugs. I’m shocked they haven’t bothered to fix them or release updates. To my surprise I instantly received confirmation from my recipient that they see the money in their account. I used the app here and there since then with no issues. Everything I sent was received by my recipients with in seconds. I also noticed they have added a few more banks recently which is great and helpful in comparing rates. Unfortunately the app doesn’t allow cross bank transfer. When you try again same result can happen. Had to call Cap One to dispute. Plus from the amount relative got equal to 39.00$ taken out in fees for 1k$ sent. Also deposit delayed almost 4days. Was banking holding transaction for lower birr rate? I prefer BOA CashGo gets fees versus money gram but BOA CaahGo needs to fix app, process transactions by next day and have an easily accessible international phone number for CashGo that operates on Greenwich Mean Time for all expats sending money home. BOA CahGo can’t expect to get our fees while offering a substandard service. Do better with your app BOA CashGo We want to help our country but don’t expect us to torture ourself using your poorly performing app. Help us, help you. Old review: The cash app is simple for sending money to Bank Abyssinia. Minor annoyances: Can’t save card info Middle initial requirement. Face recognition not an option. Otherwise a simple bare-boned that hopefully will be improved as it grows. For those blindly complaining about that the app allows only for electronic transfer to Bank of Abyssinia, the app was developed by BOA.
