It does pay, but it seems like the app is stuck for the past several months. It’s not reflecting my daily activity, and points. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, contacted support, but my issue still exists. ### 1/5 — Not worth the time or effort *2024-08-06, version 2.0.9994* After spending over 6 months, I finally got enough points to redeem a reward. It’s been over 2 weeks since I redeemed the reward and I still haven’t received it. I contacted customer service to ask when the reward will be transferred to my PayPal and I still haven’t heard from them. This is pretty much a scam. It no longer tracked my steps and I no longer had the ability to redeem them for coins. I tried logging out and logging back in, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I even contacted customer support to which their only response was, “We’ll have our technical team take a look at it.” For over a month, I made no gains with the app, which sucked because in order to get a PayPal cashout (only cashout they had), you needed 9500 coins, and you could only get a maximum of 100 coins per day. I reinstalled the app one last time and tried to log in, but now the app is just frozen on the tutorial. Absolutely terrible. If you want actual step-trackers that reward you, try out Cashwalk, Moneywalk, Money Bunny, WalkWork, WalkMining, or GeoSmile. Those are infinitely better at providing actual gift card or cash rewards over this garbage. ### 1/5 — Trash *2024-06-17, version 2.0.9993* App is trash they just want your info smh ### 2/5 — What’s going on with the app????? *2024-06-16* It worked. Then it didn’t (for months) I lost thousands of points I had & couldn’t collect ones I earned while the app wasn’t working. A few weeks ago it started working again. Today, I get a notification that I committed some kind of unacceptable activity such as changing my device clock or other un-named activity. The notification says to contact you with evidence that I haven’t done what I am accused of doing. Seriously, I didn’t change the clock on my device and as for the other un-named activity, how can I defend myself with proof if I don’t even know what you think I did??? I don’t know any other way to contact you than to write this review because the notification on the app will not close so I can contact you through it. I only collect the points I earn through walking (up to 50 pts a day), 3 video ads (random pts), and checking in daily. Please what did I do wrong in your eyes? I haven’t even attempted to cash out in months because I haven’t had enough points. Update: the app was working for a few weeks. It’s now not working AGAIN!!!!! No points can be collected. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling, nothing. I’m permanently deleting the app. I The last several months have been a waste of time. So many other free apps that are 1000 times better. Now it’s glitching, not letting me collect my daily bonus, checking in keeps resetting and times it’ll give me random coins. I probably lost about 300 coins. I did everything from resetting, shutting it off, delete and restart. Going on two weeks and no response to my email. 🤦🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I like the app, I’ll give it a couple weeks then I’ll rethink this app. Hopefully it’ll work as it did from the start. ### 2/5 — Stops working *2024-03-29, version 2.0.9992* It seemed fine at first but once you constantly walk over 10k it doesn’t give you coins anymore. I was finally paid twice last month on the same day for cash outs, not sure from which ones, I have like 10 pending. Can’t check in and resets even though I was I am able to get the daily streak and currently at 168 days. I am pretty sure it takes like 3-6 months for them to cash out, and they have never responded to any of my emails. Update 8/13/23**** After over 250 day streak, the app would not let me check in and then within a week, would not wouldn’t register my 5,000 steps for 50 coins or the 3 ads. I tried logging out and back in and still nothing, oh now I have 0 coins. App has completely messed up and I won’t bother emailing, they never respond anyway. Update 4/15/23***No real contact just will get paid randomly a couple times in one day but doesn’t say from when I cashed out. With the restrictions on how much now, you get 50 coins from 5,000 steps and nothing after that, 3 ad clicks for random amounts averaging 13 coins each and for every 7 consecutive check-ins you get 250 coins. Currently takes just under 3 months to achieve the goal for 9,500 coins to cash out $5 to PayPal. FYI I just cashed out the other day but no response yet. And yesterday the app wasn’t letting me collect my 50 coins from steps and my 3rd ad click for coins. Hopefully works better today. Update 1/5/22***Still no contact from Cashstep, have 3 unpaid now. They have no way to contact other than email and no response. I still haven’t been paid out from September twice. They will not response to the emails I send and no other way to contact them. I have more to cash out but the only way is PayPal. The app had been working god until I reached about 9000 points. After that point the app starting glitching a lot. I had one day of checking in left to reach my 250 bonus but the app would not let me checkin or get any of my daily bonuses. I tried multiple times during the day with no success. I even shut my phone down and then turned it on and tried again to no avail. That evening it would not let me add my points for my daily steps so I lost all points for the day as well as my 250 points for daily checking. The app has been glitching at times ever since. Since cashing out is 9500 points and it started glitching at about 9000 points I figure they do not want you to cash out. There are other apps that pay you for walking.
